I got into this college through KCET exam, this exam is conducted every year in Karnataka. once you clear the exam seat is allotted based on the rank. For each college under VTU has minimum cutoff, this college cutoff was 60000. Direct admission after KCET rounds.
Computer Science was in trend those days so as everyone did, I also choose CSE branch. Qualification of faculty members most of them MTech graduates and some are PHD holders. Teaching level is good, well qualified teachers, and they have good knowledge. But most of them just use ppt and read it. Some teachers are every friendly and helpful, I am thankful to those teachers. Every Sem we will have three internals of 20 marks for every subject it will be conducted monthly once and also 2 assignments will be given for each subject to write which carries 20. According 21 schema the internal marks overall including tests and assignment and activity it is scaled down to 50. External exam which will be held at the end of the Sem by VTU will be of 100 marks, but it will be also scaled down to 50. So, both internal and external marks will be added up and the results will be given. Just 5 modules in each subject if we read 3 modules perfectly one can easily pass the exam.
According to 21 Schema it is mandatory to do internship in the 7th sem. VTU has provided Internship tying up with companies like IBM, Rooman, wadhwani. No stipend is given it is kind of course which will be of 400 hrs. Exam will be given at the end along with that weekly assessment should be completed.
Eligibility criteria will depend on the company visiting the college. As i have seen only few 1 or 2 are getting placed, highest package offered till now is 5 to 6 lpa. some of the recruiters are MathCO, Mphasis, deltx, 1Lattice, soti offered good package. No big MNC companies visits the college. NO placement guarantee in this college. As the KSIT and KSSEM both are combined for the placement activities hence the competition is high and most of the time KSIT students get place
I got into this college through CET allotment. So, CET fees is 90000 and in college they collect extra 10000 as college fees, overall, its 1 lak per year. Fee's structure divided as per the receipt: Tuition fee - 65340, college, training, placement and other fee: 33000, VTU fee: 1580. When you get into final year, they will charge 2000 as convocation fee.
when do feel that college life is best? answer is when you enjoy it. so, enjoying with friends in the fest and events is the best thing which I enjoyed in this college. Fest is celebrated every year it is named as 'Aarohana'. one whole week the fest is celebrated with different events, themes. on the main day the event will go on which will end up with DJ night which will be the best part of the event. The overall infrastructure of the college is Good, environment is also nice. Library facility is available books can be borrowed from there, the one good thing in library is when someone score the good rank, they will be given a book for the whole year which should be returned at the end of year. Sports activities will be conducted every year it can be intercollege, interdepartmental etc. Some festivals will be celebrated in a grand manner. In this college that to in CSE department we have GDSC and Rotaract club, other than that dance club, singing club are there.
I am day scholar. Food in mess is eatable, no nonveg is served other than that chapati , poori and rice sambar is served daily. Some rice items are also served along with that snacks and tea is given.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
