The Main reason to choose Fisat was the placement statistics of the college. It is indeed on of the best private engineering colleges in kerala.I am currently in my 7th semester and I got placed at the Big four companies. It does have a good placement statistics. Regarding other aspects ,Fisat has a very good infrastructure, clean campus, good faculties. Fisat also supports a lot of extra curricular activities and Technology clubs and organizations. Fisat has the best basketball team and also volleyball team which has continuously won during the past years. The negative side if the college is inequality between female and male hostel inmates. The hostel curfew for females is 6, whereas for males it is 9pm. For anything and everything a lot of documentation process is required which is tiring.
Majority of the faculties have a PhD and the rest is currently pursuing one.Fisat is Naac and NBA accredited. Teaching method of faculties is quiet good. The difficulty level is moderate.Faculty feedbacks are taken once in a while and also class committe meetings are also held. The college library is very adequate.
I have done an internship at a well known company for one month in my 5th semester.Departments provide small on campus internships too. From the 8th semester everyone gets to attend a 6 month internship at a company.
All the eligible candidates are allowed to attend more than 15 placement drives.Fisat a really good placement statistics. Eligibility criteria depends on each company. The computer Science Department gets the best placements comparatively. Many mnc's like IBM,EY,Accenture, CTS,Soti,SAP come to the campus.
I joined fisat through the management quota and also I got a fee reduction because of a scholarship which can be availed if you got more than 95 percentage marks in PCM in 12th. So in a year I have to pay atleast 25k per semester. I am staying at the college hostel and got to pay 11.5 k rent each semester. Monthly mess bil is 4.5k approx.Per day 135rs is charged for food. For those students who doesn't avail any scholarships 70k per year approx is the fees. There are many scholarships available for students such as for the four students who got highest keam rank in a department do not have to pay any fee at all etc.
Fisat has a very good infrastructure and a very clear campus. It has a very good volleyball court and basketball court. A big Football ground too.Numerous number of clubs and organizations are active at Fisat which really helps in networking and exposure.
The food quality and taste is pretty good. And also it is affordable and worthy comparing to other colleges.Food menu is revised according to our wishes once in 6months. Hostel rooms are cleaned once or twice a month.it has clean Washroom facilities. The hostel is located inside the campus. Rent is 11.5 k per semester. Rs.135 per day for food.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
