- College infrastructure is average as it is funded by the government and has less fees.
- College infrastructure needs improvement as MBA requires some facilities which are not present.
Remarks :
The major criteria on the basis of which the student gets shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview round is CAT score or percentile. The minimum CAT percentile required would be 85 for general category. Then you have to go through GD and PI round then you get final admission in the college. The major factor for choosing this college was the return on investment factor.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are two class tests and one mid semester tests followed by end semester tests in each of the four semesters. The faculty here is very good and the college follows same teaching curriculum as other top B-Schools of the country.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently in first year of the course and I am currently looking for opportunities for internship and college is helping with that as companies are regularly coming in campus to provide internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
There is a corporate relations and placement cell working for the placements of the students. Many companies like Dabur, Adobe, American Express, Aditya birla capital come in the campus for final placements or summer internships. The average package here is around 13LPA and almost 92% students got placed last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When i enrolled in the above mentioned course I have paid a fees of around 19000 which is academic fees and another fees of 19000 which is for books and summer internship training program and other programs provided by the college and one time migration fees of 2100. add to that 5500 fees of examination for first semester.
Campus Life :
You will enjoy a great campus life as the college is situated in Panjab University Campus. there are various clubs and cells in the college in which you can take part in different type of activities which are organised by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
yes i have opted for the university hostel. It is very affordable as compared to the PGs or rooms available nearby. Hostel has an average infrastructure but you will definitely enjoy the hostel and campus life while living here.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
