Remarks :
The fact that they provided MBA along with pgdm. But later on a lot of questions were raised on the course by many newspapers and even education organizations. The mba is not valid in India it is valid only in UK.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty here are qualified but at the same time you get to see some faculties who can't even speak proper English. I understand that speaking English is not the academic achievement one needs to teach but they also teach wrong concepts that even a bachelorate student would teach with ease.
Internships Opportunities :
As of now I haven't. Being a finance person I need to have an internship in finance but all the finance companies that came for the internship were either a scam or a sales oriented portfolio management companies.
Placement Experience :
Placements are really average here. It's been a long time that the placement drive has started still majority of the students have not been placed. This might be because of the recession but they don't have an impressive CR team either.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure in divided into 2 years generally. You pay a total of 900000 plus in the very first year and the rest 7 lakhs later. There are payment options in EMI for students who can't afford to pay at once. You get financial assistance like loans from tie up banks. Some of my friends got scholarship as well but that too outside the campus.
Campus Life :
The only thing good is the campus life tbh. People are good because we share the same trauma. There are plenty of clubs and communities for students. Some hostels are old some are new. We still have a old split ac that throws ice even after a lot of complains they haven't done anything to make it better or change it.
Hostel Facilities :
The meals are preet good. We get 4 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner. The quality is decent enough as they have given the contract to French company sodexo. Food and hostel prices are covered under the 1600000 I mentioned earlier.
Interview Experience :
Generally they take a GD but for some reason I was not a part of one. I had to give a written test first and then a personal interview. They were quite easy to crack because I think they want everyone to get selected. Alot of promises would be made like In my case they told me that it would not be a problem to take up finance because I had certain constraints but after the first time me and a lot of other students had to face a lot of issues and we were lost in the unnecessary bureaucracy of the system.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
