I am a student from andhra pradesh . i gave my mains and scored a 95% as i belong oc i didnt a get a seat in any nit i gave my eapcet exam, where i scored a rank of 2659. in andhra pradesh andhra university is a good choice to study so i opted to choose electonics and communication engineering.
i choosed to pursue electronics and communication engineering as i dont like working on a computer coding so i choosed ece and have a future plan of getting a core job. the curriculam here is very flexible.the teaching here is not appreciable . though the exams are easy the correction here is tough and hard to score a cgpa above 9.
there are hardly any internships that are available in andhra university. one has to go out into outer world for internships etc but usaully we get informations about internships available . also we get information and guisdence from our professors
criteria for placement is simple u need a good cgpa and good knowledge companies like tcs ,wipro etc are hiring au students highest and lowest packages vary a lot but the avg salary would be 4 lakh per annum
I am an oc student studying in andhra university. I pay a fees of 44500 . as i am an oc student and my parent has a governament job i dont get a scholarship but people from my state who doesnt have a governament job and belong to obc ,sc, st, ews get a full scholarship (rembersment) . also people from other states get a goo scholarship. according to my opinion it is a good choice in terms of affordability.
life at campus is execellent as the campus is very vast . here u can also pursue any career field. also we have huge libraries where u can get any kind of books. here we have so much exposure for sports and extra curricular activities. we do have many clubs to boost our interests
i have choosed to stay in hostel. though i have a house to stay in near my college as i thought it would be fun. but now i regret that decision as the food here is getting out of hand.it taste bad and lact quality some times. it is quite affordable but sometimes its better to searrch other alternatives. the hostels are near to the college. also the hostels are congested
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
