- I like the huge, lush green campus of NIT Bhopal making it easier to enjoy the natural scenaries under the bare sky.
- I like its reputation within bhopal and everywhere as everyone knows MACT (Now MANIT) for its Unity and MANIT people come together whenever needed.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not quite justifying the 650 use of land. The infrastructure is very good but most of the area is covered in jungles hence is not in use.
- Due to huge cammpus, To even get simple tasks done like printout etc, we have to walk a lot and the availability of buses(only 4 are there) is so less compared to the no of students (5000+).
Remarks :
I went through jee mains josaa counceling to get this college. This college is the topmost engineering college of MP hence I chose it. Also I got a very nice branch that is mathematics and data science here in this prestigious college hence I preferred this college instead of chosing any other college with lower branches.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are Phd and have very deep knowledge of their respective subjects. The teaching methods are somewhat traditional as happens in all colleges but faculties have great knowledge making it easier to understand all subjects. In one sem, we have three exams, mini test, mid term and end term including theory and practicals, The schedule for each test is shared beforehand in our acadmic calender and thing happens on that basis only. The difficulty level is medium , if you know the subject and have attended the classes you can easily pass the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did my internship from Bajaj Auto limited. Some colleagues from my branch did internship in PayPal and amazon also offering 1lac+ stipend. I worked in Data engineering team and made an universal tool for the monitoring of RPAs.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements is decided by the particular companies but its generally 7+ cgpa. Companies like google, warner bros, ZS Associates, Nutanix, Microsoft etc visits our campus. The highest package offered previous year was 82LPA by atlassian and average package differs branchwise and is 20-25LPA for CSE. Also percentage of placement differs branchwise and is highest for CSE >90%. As my branch is new and I am the first bactch so I cant deduce the avf=g and highest packages and placement percentage.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure depends on the income criteria, for someone having income less than 1lac, there is tuition fee of approx. 6000 only per sem. My income lies between 1-5lac hence my tution fees was 27,610 per semester, making it 55610 per year. That means for B.tech(4year) it is 55610*4 = 2,22,440 and for 5 years it is 2,28,050 (B.tech + M.tech). Along with it, mess fees and hostel fees is fixed for everyone i.e, 27500 mess fee for whole year and 36000 hostel fee for whole year. so total fee for one year was -> 55620 + 27500 + 36000 = 1,19,120.
Campus Life :
We have 20+ clubs and soceities in our college hence social life is quite enjoyable. We generally have two fests, one in october MAFFICK (before end term of odd semesters) and other in april TECHNO (before end terms of even semesters). We also have another fest by Ecell called E-summit in march and TOORYANAAD by hindi society tooryanaad in september. All these fests hosts thousands of students and very eminent guests making them huge events of bhopal. We have library with huge collection of books ,you just have to go their and find the one you need. We have a sports complex having all the facilities for different kind of sports and grounds and gymnasium. There are so many clubs run by students including astronomy club, evironmental club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel I live in is H-12, which is newest hostel of campus hence is very beautiful. We have a mess inside hostel providing varieties of food daily, four times with medium food quality. Registration for hostel is done once in 1st semester. Hostel fee per semester is 18000. There are various PGs and rooms available ourtside our campus also and we have 12 hostels inside campus.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
