Remarks :

I chose Osmania University because of its reputaion affordable fee struture and strong acedemic environment The university is well known in our region and has a long standing history of producing successful graduates For admission I had to clear the Common Entrance Test CET which has compettitive cutoffs each year After the test there was a Group Discusion GD and Personal Intervew PI round to assess comunication skills and knowlege of current affairs To prepare I revised key subjects practiced previous question papers and brushed up on current events for the GD The campus has good facilities and a lively student comunity which made it an appealing choice for me

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it offers a solid foundation in my field of interest and has great scope for future career opportunities The course curriculum at Osmania University is well structured but could be updated more regularly to match the latest industry trends The faculty is highly qualified with many holding advanced degrees and they are knowledgeable in their areas however the teaching methods could be more interactive as some

Internships Opportunities :

through Osmania University which provides a fair number of opportunities Companies like Infosys and TCS offer internships with roles in software development and data analysis Some internships come with a stipend ranging from 5000 to 10000 per month depending on the company and role During my internship my main tasks included working on a project related to data cleaning and analysis where I had to organize data and run analyses to draw insights We also had some group projects where I collaborated with other interns to develop

Placement Experience :

Placements at Osmania University are decent with a variety of companies visiting the campus each year to offer job opportunities Eligibility for placements generally includes a minimum academic score with some companies setting their own specific requirements A few major recruiters include TCS Infosys and Wipro which have made multiple offers The highest package tends to be around 8-10 LPA while the average package is about 4-5 LPA depending on the role and company Roughly 60-70 percent of students secure placements each year After completing my degree I plan to work in my field to gain practical experience and build a strong foundation for my career

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee structure for my course was broken down into several components adding up to approximately 15000 INR per year This included tuition fees, registration admisssion fees. and other essential

Campus Life :

Life on campus at Osmania University is vibrant with a good balance of acadefmics and social life The campus has various clubs and studgent groups for those interested in arts sports and academics making it easy to meet people with similar interests One of the major fejsts here isAkshara held every February which includes cultural events sports and academic competitions The library is well stocked with a wide range of books and journals but sometimes availability can be an issue due to high demand Classrooms have basic amenities but could be improved for better comfort and learning There are also facilities for sports with regular extracurricular events organized for students Additionally students run their own clubs and groups like the Photography Club and there’s a student website that shares updates about campus events and resources

Hostel Facilities :

at Osmania University and found the infrastructure decent but it could use some improvements The hostel rooms are basic with shared amenities and the application process is straightforward requiring a form submission at the hostel office The mess food is manageable with a simple menu that rotates weekly but the quality varies and could be better Registration for the hostel is done on a first-come first-served basis making it affordable compared to outside rentals For students who prefer off-campus options many rent rooms or PGs in areas nearby like Tarnaka and Habsiguda which offer more choices but can be a bit costlie

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Learning, coding, and growing everyday

Placement Experience :

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
