Actually the interest in the subject made me to choose the Nizam college and also it's one of the oldest Degree college in the state of Telangana and as well as in South India being founded in the year of 1887 There's no written tests or exams for admission in the college Interested students can apply for seat through DOST (Degree Online Services Telangana) Seat allotment is based on merit (10+2 %)
Course Curriculum Overview :
My dream made me to choose this course. As a Civil aspirant I choose this course so that I could complete preparation of a subject through my academics Faculty is too good Teaching quality of Faculty is good and there will be projectors too in every classrooms for subject explanation
Internships Opportunities :
Though I've been approached by a company for an internship program for a time period of 15 days ,I've been selected for the role but due to personal loss of one of my family member at that particular period of time I couldn't join the internship
Placement Experience :
As I'm from the department of economics there's no placement drives particularly for economics students but there's a placement cell in the college that provides information about placements in different industries who are interested the can apply

Tuition fee 5000 Special fee 2600 Other fee 7400 This is the prescribed fee per year of BA economics But students need not pay the full fee who can get fee reimbursement I paid a sum of 2400 in the starting of my academic year ie.2021 and my annual fees are paid by govt through fee reimbursement As I'm from sc category I've got scholarship toob

Many events in college campus takes place Some of them are - Freshers in the month of nov/Dec every year Traditional day Bathukamma event - intracollege event in October Sankranti event in January Farewells in april/may Library has a wide range of book collection Extracurricular activities include NCC NSS sports Student run Ngos and organizations like VOICE FOR WELFARE and OYSTER are a part of college day to day activities
Hostel Facilities :
As I'm a days scholar I didnt opt for hostel facility Hostel facility is provided for students whose home is at a distance of minimum 60 kilometers from the college premises. My friends have opted for Hostel facility

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
