Admissions can be done either through management quota or merit quota. For getting admitted through merit quota, you would have to give the entrance exam (KEAM) conducted by CEE. The admission process is pretty much straight forward, you give the exam-wait for the rank list-give your allotment preferences-wait for the allotment results and that's it.
I chose this course based on my personal interests. I and am electrical and electronic hobbyist which made this course less frictious. The only thing that made university exams difficult is the tight schedule of classes.
The fee paid to university including the examination fees, tuition fees, lab fees etc cost around 11k to 12k. So, for a person getting admitted through merit quota(Through KEAM) financial stability won't be affected a bit. Further more, Govt of Kerala provides monthly stipend of Rs. 1600 for eligible candidates.

The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
