- Being the no.1 college of north karnataka we have a campus of over 100 acres where we have all kinds of buildings
- The faculty here are super friendly they help you a lot in all the departments
Dislikes
- Commuting in the college is a problem as it is a big campus the distance between hostel to college is only 1 km
- The campus is not so clean especially here and there there is gutka spitters
Remarks :
It is the no.1 college in north karnataka It also has one of the best patient intakes in karnataka We can get the admission to this college through an exam called NEET which is a national level exam In our batch around 18 lakh students had given the exam all over India And to get to this college U have to get a rank around 14k to 15k in my category that is OBC For SC and ST category it is around 35k to 40k After my 2nd puc I had to sit for extra one year to prepare for NEET
Course Curriculum Overview :
After my 2nd puc I literally didnt know what to do I had to choose between going to an engineering college or give NEET again As there are less job placements in engineering and more engineers so I had to choose MBBS The faculty here, they are also basically doctors who after finishing MBBS did a post graduation in that subject and became proffesors in that In one year there are 3 timely internals and 1 final university exam which we have to pass and the percentage to pass is 50% of the total marks in every subject The exams were actuallu difficult so we have to study daily in order to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities :
After we finish this course od MBBS which is roughly around 4.5 years we have to do a compulsory internship for 1 year where you have to work in different departments of the college and hospital in rounds The internship is a paid one
Placement Experience :
After becoming a doctor u can set up a clinic of your own or get a job in any hospital after completing post graduation Or If you are intrested in teaching you cam become a proffesor in any medical college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we pay the same fees that is 52550rs which includes everything and we also pay additional 1000rs for student association All of my batchmates have the same fee structure We get scholarship around 55k from the government
Campus Life :
The life is campus is very good and we'll be having fests now and then In july we had Kannada habba We also celebrate ganesh chaturti in a very grand way This year we also had state level inter college athletic meet where 700 colleges all over karnataka had participated in it On september 5th we celebrated teacher's day as well Our library is well equipped with all the necessary books out there Our classes are spacious which can easily accomodate 200 students We have a seperate sports ground and a sports complex for sports and other activities We also have a well equipped gym which is free to use for students and staff
Hostel Facilities :
I am in hostel and the hostel food is good The menu includes everything Daily we have egg and banana for dinner And weekly once we have chicken And the quality of the food is also good We can get registered in hostel only if u are a student of this college it can done in the warden office As it is a government hostel it is super affordable and the room rent is around 200rs per month and per room 3 of us are staying U can rent room or PG in vidyanagar which is next to our college

Placement Experience :
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
