people should clear JEE mains, and then JEE advance to get admission in this college, I love my college very much, its actually a second generation IIT, almost all facilities are there, but library and auditorium are under construction which will be completed by 2025 may. exam cut off depends on the category and branch u want to avail, for more information look into official JOSSA website.
because i want to study in IIT, and for my rank its the best option to choose chemical engineering in IIT Patna. also i use to have some little interest on chemical industry side, also chemical engineering has a good scope in India.
i am actually a second year student so, not opted any internship, but thinking to get one in the holidays, but my advice is if academic profile is good, then we will get internship in better companies, and then job in better company.
campus placements were ok, nice. student have chances of getting nice placements if there CPI is above 8( i mean u will be top among your class) but along with academics other skills will be also required. highest package in chem engineering is around 40 to 60 LPA, while average is around 14LPA

campus life is actually better than what I expected, there were fests I guess approx. 4 annually nebula is a freshers fest to welcome them infinito is a sports fest. celesta is a tech fest, which is my favourite and there will be lot of interesting tech competitions and games at last the biggest fest of IIT Patna is Anwesha, its a cultural fest, and the biggest fest in north east India. all the class rooms were air conditioned and projectors, speakers white board with markers also a computer is provided. there were 10 clubs which were running by students related dance, coding, astronomy, designing etc
food will be good, but students getting bore with the same menu, hostel are affordable and comfortable in the college, there will be non-veg 4 times a week and biryani on every Sunday. registarion for getting hostel will be offline for first time and from 2nd year it is online.
In my clg placemant offer upon your grades or good internship like teir one or teir 2 but most of the olacement are joined by your self and there is nothing to say. If u have good internship, so u defenetely for clg oalcement.
Almost 50 to 60 percent students got placed up to their final examination and their average package is 4.5 LPA. The college offers internships also.some internships are paid and some are unpaid of them.
Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.
faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.
There are placement strike 99% so I will admission this college for build up my career there are placement are highest in bihar. There are placement are very easy process. Placements are different companies like wipro infosis tcs icici bank etc.
In MBBS there is compulsory one year rotational internship in which student are posted at different departments for certain time to gain clinical knowledge and on experience also this is paid internship currently you will be paid 27000 per month in bihar state government colleges
In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.
no placements in core and tech companies. only sales companies visit which gives a package of around 4 lpa. few civil branch companies also visit and offer roles to 4-5 students.no internships are provided ,students have to search it on their own.
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified, most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months. And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.
The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
