- The faculty at our college are not just educators but also mentors who genuinely care for the students. They create a nurturing environment that feels like home, guiding us through academic challenges and personal growth. They are always approachable, offering support both in and outside the classroom. Their dedication to our success goes beyond teaching; they provide encouragement, counsel, and a sense of security, much like parental figures. The faculty’s passion for teaching and their commitment to student welfare creates a strong bond, making us feel valued and understood. Their ability to balance academic rigor with emotional support has a significant impact on our development as individuals, making the learning experience more enriching and fulfilling.
- Although the campus is relatively small, it holds a special charm, especially due to the beautiful garden. The garden is a peaceful retreat within the campus, offering a serene atmosphere where students can relax, study, or simply enjoy nature. Its lush greenery and well-maintained plants provide a refreshing escape from the busy academic life. The garden has become a favorite spot for many, offering a calm space for reflection, informal gatherings, and moments of solitude. It adds a sense of tranquility to the campus, making it a perfect place to unwind during breaks. The garden not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the campus but also serves as a reminder of the importance of nature and calm in our daily lives. It's a simple yet significant feature that makes the college environment feel more welcoming and comfortable.
Dislikes
- The management at our college is known for its strict and often limiting approach, especially when it comes to cultural events. They impose several restrictions, from the selection of clothes to the choice of songs for performances. These constraints stifle creativity and make it difficult for students to fully express themselves. The regulations on attire often feel excessive, as they prevent students from wearing what they feel comfortable or confident in, diminishing the enjoyment of these events. Similarly, the strict rules regarding song choices often limit the variety and expression of talent, as students are forced to conform to preset guidelines. This creates an atmosphere where students feel restricted rather than encouraged to explore their artistic potential. While the management may argue that these rules maintain discipline, they often end up discouraging participation and reducing the excitement and authenticity of cultural programs.
- Another aspect I dislike is the college’s small campus, which feels limiting in terms of space and facilities. The college is located deep in a village and surrounded by a forest area, making it difficult for people to visit or for students to access urban conveniences. The isolation of the location means that there are fewer opportunities for students to engage with the outside world or take part in events that could broaden their perspectives. Public transport options are limited, and the lack of nearby shops or entertainment facilities can make campus life feel somewhat disconnected. This isolation also affects social interactions, as students have fewer chances to meet people from different backgrounds or explore new experiences. While the serene surroundings may offer a peaceful environment for studying, the lack of activity and engagement with the broader community can feel stifling.
Remarks :
I came through the management quota, so there was no written test, examination, or interview process. For both management and government seats, the admission was based solely on counseling. The only criteria for management seat admissions were passing the NEET exam, while government seats were allotted based on the merit list after the government counseling process. There was no interview for either quota, and the entire admission process was streamlined through the counseling system, with NEET scores being the primary determining factor for management quota candidates and merit rankings for government seat candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty at the institution includes a well-qualified team dedicated to delivering quality education. There are two to three assistant professors, each with expertise in their respective fields, contributing significantly to the academic environment. The Head of Department (HOD) brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring that the department runs smoothly and that the students receive the highest level of education. Several of the faculty members hold PhDs, adding to the academic rigor of the courses offered. In addition to the permanent staff, the department regularly invites guest lecturers who are experts in various specialized areas. These guest lecturers bring a diverse range of perspectives, enriching the learning experience for students. The combination of experienced full-time faculty and esteemed guest lecturers provides a balanced and comprehensive educational experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for management seats varies based on the counselor selected. The total amount ranges from 16 lakh to 22.2 lakh, depending on the counselor, with the donation portion fluctuating. Of the total amount, 3.5 lakh per year is divided into three installments. The remaining amount is considered the donation, which is paid during the admission process. For government seats, the fee structure is fixed at 2.5 lakh per year. Please note that the fee structure mentioned is applicable only for management seats and can differ based on the selected counselor. The donation amount may vary as per the counselor's involvement in the admission process. As government has introduced few rules for the fee I am not that sure for the present trend of fees of government seats
Campus Life :
Navratri Celebration – Traditional garba dance Ganesh Chaturthi – Festivities with prayers and cultural performances. Sanskrit Day – Activities promoting Sanskrit language and culture. Karnataka Rajyotsava – Celebrations of the state's formation with cultural performances. Breastfeeding Week – Awareness programs on the importance of breastfeeding. Yoga Week – Workshops and sessions promoting health and wellness. The college's annual function, traditionally held in January, has been moved to September in recent years. Gym is well maintained but some equipment are not available for students Library has more than 1000 books of different authors helpful for students We have a digital team for all the creative work helping students to prepare for there inter State competition too.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
