Likes
- College campus is lush green and beautiful campus full of flowers and trees . I like most about my college that it has a swimming pool which open for all college students.
- I enjoy the hosteller life and hostels have decent infrastructure not so good but in 5-7 days you will use through with them.
Dislikes
- Mechanical , PIE nad civil faculties are very strict in term of academics that they won't pass the students easily and every semester plenty of students gets fail in atleast one subject.
- Some portion of campus is occupied by teachers flat and students are restricted in that area that's the thing I don't like because after some time campus feels small
Remarks :
The main factor of choosing this college as it is in my homestate i.e. Haryana So their is 50% reservation on state students And for me it is easy to travel from home to college ane vice versa Thats the main reason of my choosing this college And their is no any Group discussion and Interview or Written test for admission In my college simply clear the JEE mains exam with good rank under 50000 And you will get admission in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is different for different branches I have choosen this mechanical engineering B tech because i was not getting higher branches like Computer and IT with my rank. Faculties are well qualified their are very good researchers and majoritu of professors holding phd degree so qualification of faculty is not a concern. Terminal exam are taken every month There are 2 Mid sem and 1 end sem exam And practical exams also held And difficulty is moderate .
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I opt for internship in summer vacation offcampus at the end of 2nd year Because in my deparment 2 credits are compulsary for intern. I interned at HS GROUPS AND CONSULTANCY under the role of a cad software designer But i don't get paid . I worked on a project called electrostatic precipitator have designed on software and learned the wroking and application of it.
Placement Experience :
Many conpanies visit college for placements and internship many put eligibility criteria on the basis of CGPA and in my college 8+ CGPA is safe side for eligible in almost all companies. If anyone won't get placement then he/she apply offcampus And A NIT tag also helps in getting jobs I am in 3rd year and till now i won't get intern but companies are coming Because i have 1 backlog and backlog are not allowed in the placememts drive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee paid on per semester basis There are 2 fees , one is for tution fee and other is of hostel and mess The tution fee has recession on the basis of income range if it is greater than 5 lac than 72000 per sem , if it is in between 1 to 5 lacs than 37000 And if less than 1 lac than no tution fee only other charges are applied and a total of 16100 to be paid. And this college got admission on the basis of JEE mains so there is no scholarships provide in admission time But in semester exams good cgpa holder got rewards .
Campus Life :
Campus life is good but as time passes we face campus size issue because in half portion of compus , teacher's flat are there And students hang out at their's place is restricted. There are 3 fests mainly names confluence in october , techspardha in january and utkarsh in sptember. Books easily available for students as library is of good sizes and have plenty of books. Majority of sports are being played in this college and now a days inter colleges tournaments are on going so their is no any difficulty in sports and other activities. Their are many clubs i.e technobyte , SAE , EMR, SHIKSHA clubs that run by college students.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel 2st year students got triple sharing rooms and then feom 2nd years single seater hostel are provided Mess food quality is different for different hostels some have good and 1 hostel (H10)has a very bad quality. Hostel process is done by paying fee on SBI collect website and choose for NIT KURUKSHETRA institution and there you will see an option for hostel pay.

KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure

Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
