In my case it was very much depending upon the JEE Mains Rank, At the time of my admission It was among the top NITs so it was on my priority during the counseling. For the admission, one has to give the JEE Mains exam, and based on it one can get the admission. Cut-off usually is around AIR 7000 for general category and goes down based on the quota.
The curriculum is very well structured compared to any other NITs, we don't need to study any filler subjects, exams and every event are well organized and timely, a calendar is prepared for every semester which includes the date of every events including exams, and the calendar is followed very strictly. One downside the the college is the faculty, though the faculty are well qualified but their teaching methods are very boring.
I have not yet got a internship but our placement cell is very active in calling companies for internships on campus. the internship stats are average for on campus. The major companies that visited for internship recently are microsoft, DE shaw, etc.
In the time of my admission in 2022, The placement stats were very good with a median of 20 lakhs annually for CSE but is declined in the recent years . In the current time, The average is around 12-14 lakhs annually
The semester fee revolves around 80000-90000 inclusive of every other charges like lab fee, registration fee, tuition fee. The admission fee of 40000 was charged, which was a one time payment, paid at the time of admission. The overall fee for a student depend on the quota he/she is on. It generally decreases in order of general, obc, sc, st. There is no management quota. Other than the college fee, our hostel and mess fee is around 45 thousand per semester which is same for all the categories.
The campus life is very good. we have multiple technical and cultural clubs and societies. We are multiple festivals annually, the main being confluence which is a 4 days cultural festival, and techsparda as technical festival. The library is very good and have a lot of book. The classroom are mixed of average to good, like some classrooms are average and some are very good so its a mixed, every classroom is equipped with the smart board and is air conditioned.
There are multiple hostel and the fee and mess depends on which hostel you are on. In my case , I reside in Hostel - 4 , here the rooms are average , i would say poor compared to other hostels, the food is good, and the total hostel and mess fee is around 45000 per semester

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
