Remarks :
The interview was conducted online as it was a covid batch. JLU is known for faculty's teaching methods, events, workshops, fests, and creativity. These are all good aspects because with studies they encourage co curriculum as well. There's nothing bad about the university. You'll get to meet students from different parts of the world as well. Also, prepare for interview well. They don't ask you questions out of context but will ask based on your interests.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I belong to a business background family and has to learn insights and knowledge of running a company. But with this learning I learned about different domains as well and became vice president of HR club based on my skills and experience. Professors are very helpful either it's assignment or doubts or notes. Teaching techniques are unique. Site visits organised by faculties prepare you more for the industry. There are 2 exams per semester. Comes from the syllabus only ( study well ). They are not tough but if you have studied they are easy for you. Passing percentage is 40% after combining mid semester and end semester marks. When you get mid semester results, calculate with the help of faculty how much you need to score in end semester to pass. You'll have a better idea then.
Internships Opportunities :
If we talk about internships, university provides you with various internships especially the police internship ( you get a government certificate, go for that if interested). Online internships are not acceptable, you need to physically perform the tasks which will increase your skills and help you with time management. Some internships pay you and some don't ( choose wisely). You have to then prepare an internship report and write all the necessary content asked to write.
Placement Experience :
About 50% of my class got placed. The packages depends on the domain you select ( Choose your domain wisely). Many top companies like sarva foam ind., Taj hotel, etc are connected with the university. Placement procedure is easy with university's own portal. Faculties help you prepare you resume too, then apply wherever you want to and they call you for the interview within a week. Sometimes on the spot interviews are taken too ( when no one is informed) to check whether students are ready or not. Also, as I said I belong to a business background family so I'm preparing myself to become an entrepreneur after I complete my post graduation from UK ( going sept 2025).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wisely I paid Rs. 80000 and extra Rs. 20000 in the first year from which caution money is refundable when the course ends. There are no other charges than this. If you have participated in sports in your school time or scored good in your HSC, you'll get scholarship based on your percentage and statement of purpose.
Campus Life :
JLU is Central Asia no.1 university, with the best infrastructure and the centre of attraction is the pyramid in the middle of the university. Classrooms are the best, labs are the best, even canteens are the best. Canteen food and Hostel food both are perfect in taste. In the pyramid there's a 2 floor library with lots of books related to course and also there are novels, knowledgeable books and many more. If we talk about sports, in JLU if you excel in sports you are really going to excel in everything. Also, it gives you better opportunities to play at national level too. For medical facilities they have a seperate room which has all necessary equipments, medicines and everything you need to restore your health. If you search jlu on social networking sites you'll find the university's original page. Also, student committee is always there to solve student's problems.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are nice and the mess timings are fixed . ( When lectures exceed, you can inform professor and leave for the mess). Hostel food here is too good. There are varieties everyday. Registration process can be done with the jlu's website or by visiting the campus. It is affordable but you have to take care of extra charges that is if you order food from outside, or you need essentials. If you want to rent a room or a PG areas like Maharana Pratap nagar, Kolar road, Aura mall area, Govindpura are the nearest.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
