- One thing that I like about my college infrastructure is that it's a very beautifully build college and it gives a really great vibe
- And also the thing is that faculty is also quite good means they are good on how to speak to the student and how to be a few student they are quite go over there also
Dislikes
- One thing that I don't like about as in Bangalore is that there hostel facilities are not at all good provide a decent in a hostel but the fees that we have to paid for that is not appropriate and I feel it's quite overpriced
- The other thing is not I search for the college but the thing is that in Bengaluru there is a lot of issue with language in Kannada is mostly spoke here and people don't accept us who are outside from Bangalore so that's the only issue another than that nothing
Remarks :
No not actually the only thing was that since childhood I was quite interested in HOSPITALITY as a course I just love it and I always wanted to be a professional chef in a luxury restaurant. And ihm Bangalore was a perfect choice .
Course Curriculum Overview :
BSC in hospitality and hotel administration at IHM Bangalore is a three year program. This course is structured into 6 semesters .The subject provided here are FOOD PRODUCTION,FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES,FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AND HOUSEKEEPING.
Internships Opportunities :
No actually there is not an internship program with the hm Mangalore the thing is that is a Mangalore provides internship program where we have to go 6 months to other hotels to learn and to practice about whatever things we have to do ahead in our career and its not something like an internship it is just something like where we go and he learn and I have not got an opportunity at to do that in maybe next your made I would be able to do that.
Placement Experience :
Yes obviously the campus placement is offered in by the college itself but the thing is that the campus placement what they offer is not up to the mark means the of package goes from 280000 maximum 380000 around which is not at all satisfying for me at least yeah the best package in our college has gone to 7.2 lakhs which is a good one and the majority companies which come here are IRCTC or they are from government side or maybe Leela hotel Lalit hotel.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure for bsc in hospitality and hotel administration is approximately 712000 for the entire 3 years First year fees will be 122000 Second year 111000 Third year 110000 Additional tuition fees varies by room type between 70000-90000 annually

IHM BANGALORE has a infrastructure for hospitality education.The campus area is situated in Bangalore.Key facilities of this college are : 1.Library 2.Training Kitchens and Labs 3.Computer Lab 4.Hostel facilities
Hostel Facilities :
No Actually I didn't act for a hostel because I hear the hostel charges are quite bit expensive and they are not also to go to be true and also the thing is that we can get a lot more better PG'S over here which are more hygienic and also they are more cost efficient for us so I personally opted for a PG rather than hostel if anyone wants and hostel they can go for it but why preference will always be for PG

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
