All about MITS from your senior (Batch: 2021-2025)
Likes
- Campus is really beautiful. Infra is also good. Labs are advance. New labs computer are equipped with Intel i7 processor.
- Facilities are top notch. Most of the teachers are PhD from IIT, NIT or IIIT.
Dislikes
- Being a state semi government college, a lot of local students take admission here which doesn't allow much good exposure.
- Also due to locality and localites, fights happen here which causes indiscipline. The security should improve.
Remarks :
MITS is very old college. Well established. For taking addmission, you have to give JEE Mains and sit in MPDTE counselling and select the college and branch. From there you can get the admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Being a student representative in Board of Studies and student representative in Outcome Based Education department, overall curriculum is very good. Teachers teaches the course properly. They provide notes and exams take place on regular intervals.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship in offcampus. There are no On-Campus internship opportunities like NIT/IIT or good private colleges. On campus internship opportunity should be provided. College asks for a min 4 weeks internship in 3rd year.
Placement Experience :
On-Campus placement is okay okay. Being a tier 3 college, placement opportunities are not so up to the point. Max package is 11 LPA CTC till now for 2025 passout that too for only CSE and ECE branch only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's 365000 and some miscellaneous expenses like ims fees and other fees. Yes it's increasing and increased due to The MITS Deemed University entitlement. Now the yearly fees is around one lakh twenty five thousand (I don't know exact, approx).
Campus Life :
MITS has a land area of around 45 acres. Campus is beautiful. It has lush green oak trees everywhere. 3 big grounds are there. There are approximate 70 student clubs and national and international societies.
Hostel Facilities :
I have lived in hostel. At our time, for boys, only first year students were allowed to live in hostel. Overall infrastructure is good. Mess is okay okay just like other messes. They provide 4 times of food.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
