- Campus life is something extremely important and in SGSITS there is no stress when talking about the curriculum and college timings.
- Faculties are really helpful and supportive over there with the great knowledge of there respective subjects.
Dislikes
- There is not a lot to dislike in this college, but one can still complain about the infrastructure as it's not that captivating as there are a lot of old college buildings.
- Secondly, there are not a lot of well equipped labs and the machines are old and conventional.
Remarks :
The admissions are based purely on the basis of JEE rank via MP DTE website. The factors which I have considered were the location. It has close proximity to all the facilities and situated in central Indore. After IIT and NIT it's the best college in the Madhya Pradesh. Along with that it's pretty affordable for everyone. Plus you get a tag of government college student which is in itself a big deal for Indian students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of my branch is quite versatile you get to learn a lot. Yet, one can think it as conventional. Few topics might not be used in today's world. Faculties here are highly qualified and almost everyone has great knowledge of subjects. The exams are on the semester wise basis along with 2 mid term examinations every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of internship opportunities, projects and research work going on in the college itself. So, one can find internship over there only and as already mentioned creating good terms with faculty members definitely becomes a plus point as they have a lot of connections in industry which would lead you to an internship.
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of options. There is no eligibility criteria for our TPOs office but it's from the companies they had specific criterias. To name a few recruiters in my branch are GreyB, Adani, Renishaw, JSW Steels, Bridgestone, Havells, etc. Bridgestone offers highest package which is 12 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. The ones with the plans for higher studies only doesn't get placed other wise by the end almost everyone gets placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure for the students of IPE is Rs. 45,800 per semester. The fees for 1st semester is 51,000. Apart from that there is no fee waiver on the basis of category. But you can enroll on the basis of jee rank for fee waiver. One student from our batch has to pay Rs. 14,000 every year under tuition fees criteria. There are a lot of government scholarships which students can look upto. On the basis of your boards percentage there is pragati scholarship for girls which offers 50,000 every year.
Campus Life :
The annual techno cultural fest of our college is known as AAYAM which is held every year in the month of March which is a three day long event. There is a huge library known as central library. Where one can find a lot of books and study material along with well equipped study rooms. There is a dedicated sports area for lawn tennis, cricket ground, badminton court, Turf, etc. to name a few. Apart from that there is a gymnasium. There are a lot of college clubs to name a few, E-Cell, Kshitij, Pratibimb, Baja, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a locality so no hostel for me, but I have many friends over there. According to them the hostel culture is the typical Indian engineering college one. No such well equipped rooms, food tastes okay. Infrastructure wise there are a few well equipped laboratories. But one can definitely opt for PG and rental rooms nearby at cheap rates.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
