There are no interviews, after writing the NEET exam and getting eligible marks you can avail seats at the college of your choice, there are no further interviews but it is a very competitive exam. The college has a very huge campus and facilities for sports, arts and other extracurriculars.
it's an amazing course newly introduced by the NTA, we are following the CBME curriculum which is a competency based medical education where we learn by doing and not simply book based learning, this facilitates more active learning. The faculty are all doctors with high honour's qualified to teach in the best government colleges. The exams are conducted annually as university exams and they are of moderate difficulty.
We have one year internship in our medical college itself after our final year, we get a stipend monthly which averages around 30,000. All students are to attend this internship mandatorily to complete this course. After this students get their MBBS degree so they can opt to either work as a junior doctor or opt for higher studies as a postgraduate by writing the NEET PG exam.
Yearly there are varying tuition fees and additional charges including lab fees and record fees etc. During our first year we had to pay a due amount of 23,500 and in our second yr it increased to 26,000. If the students are having reservation like SC or ST they aren't required to pay the tuition fee amount. There are also various scholarships for students like the e-grants scholarship which allows students a full discount on their tuition fees.
There are fests every now and then, although it is a medical college sometimes we forget we're attending a professional course and it's as fun or even more fun than any arts college. We have intercollege sports and cultural fests held regularly like the vertigo which is our own colleges sports fest and the plasma which is an intercollegiate dance fest. There are various clubs run here like the academic club, sports club, van club which are very active and continously conduct events for the students studying here.
The hostel mess is quite good for a government hostel, it is run by a students mess union so we have a say on the kind of food served and the quality of food, we have a non vegetarian option everyday and the only issue I've seen in our mess is that the food gets over quite quickly. We have a hostel application form we can fill during our admission process to the college, as it is a government facility it is quite cheap. It's located in the campus itself, nearby to the academic complex.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
