Remarks :

Our college is a popular choice for engineering aspirants due to its academic reputation, industry-focused programs, and good placement opportunities. The college has strong connections with IT companies, offering good placement rates. NGIT offers quality education, especially in Computer Science (CSE), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Information Technology (IT). The very good advantage of thus college was even if you join in NGIT ,you are eligible to attend placements from KMIT too.Eligibility criteria Admission for my college NGIT to B.Tech course is primarily based on TS EAMCET scores. The cut-off rank for CSE is around 13,000 (general category).NGIT does not conduct GD/PI rounds for undergraduate admissions. The selection is merit-based via TS EAMCET or can get seat through management quota. As there is no hostel facilities in college , outstation students must arrange accommodation elsewhere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Many students opt for CSE, AI, or IT programs due to their interest in cutting-edge technologies and the vast opportunities these fields offer.Courses at NGIT align with emerging industry trends, particularly in AI and ML, which have significant demand in the job market. As a student i also say this is the reason for choosing CSE course. The curriculum is frequently updated to include emerging technologies like Data Science, Cloud Computing, and MachineLearning. The curriculum focuses of hands-on experience with projects, hackathons, and lab sessions, allowing students to build real-world applications. mid exams are conducted two times per sem, according to academic schedules. The difficulty level is moderate. Assignments and internal assessments focus on problem-solving and application skills. Coming to faculty qualifications most faculty members hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees in their respective fields. Professors are experienced and often involved in research and teaching.

Internships Opportunities :

No i didn't opt for any internship but i am trying to get internship. Our college encourages students to do internships through campus and off campus . NGIT provides internships for students in a huge rate in companies like EPAM, realpage, opentext, inrhythm, recruit crm, risposta corp, Intellipat, and many other companies. They come for both roles technical and non technical like trainee software engineer, product consultant role, customer support, software developer, project manager. This internship roles primarily focus on software development, machine learning, AI, and project management. Stipend details vary by company, with some offering competitive amounts depending on the role and duration.

Placement Experience :

The placement percentage in our college is around 80-85%, reflecting strong recruiter interest. The companies visiting the campus include Amazon, experian, Cognizant, Virtusa, micron, EY, opentext, RealPage and EPAM.This companies take bulk recruitment. The highest package offered so far is ?44 LPA by Amazon, while the average package ranges between ?7.8 and ?8 LPA, with many students securing offers in the 4-6 LPA. Internships are also emphasized, with many students converting their internships into pre-placement offers. The highest internship stipend is ?30,000 per month, with companies like Amazon and EPAM being prominent recruiters for internships?. After completing the course, many students plan to join reputed companies while others opt for higher studies or entrepreneurship. The college's strong industry connections and skill-building initiatives position students well for future opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college Neil Gogte Institute Of Technology offers various undergraduate courses. As a student in NGIT, i took B.E(CSE) course in this college. For my course college fees is Rs.90000 annually and there will be extra fees of Rs.2500 that includes lab fees, library ,registration and admission fees. I joined this college in 2021 so at that time my college fee was Rs.70000 per year. Our college NGIT does not provide any hostel facilities, which can result in additional living costs for outstation students?.Students with high ranks in TS EAMCET will receive fee reimbursement from government. If your EAMCET rank is below 10000 then you will get full fee reimbursement that is total tution fee will be paid by government otherwise government will give fee reimbursement of Rs.35000.

Campus Life :

NGIT has several student-led clubs focusing on technical skills, cultural activities. These include coding clubs.Social groups organize activities like debates, NSS camps, creating a vibrant environment. NGIT hosts "TECHKSHETRA", its technical fest, usually in February, showcasing students' talents through hackathons, coding competitions. Our college NGIT totally focuses on academics mostly so there will be only 3 events per year one is dandiya night for dussehra and other event us sankrathi event and thrid one is ecstasy fest which is celebrated every year after freshers join our college. The library is well-stocked with a variety of books, old newspapers, resources. Our college encourages sports through indoor games like chess, table tennis, and carrom and outdoor games like basketball, throwball, cricket. Wi-Fi is available but often restricted to faculty, limiting student access. Canteen serves yummy meals and snacks like chciken biryani, french fries, frankies .

Hostel Facilities :

No, i was a dayscholar so i didn't opt for any hostel facility. But some of my friends do stay in hostels and they say that they pay Rs.5000 per month as hostel fee which covers their accommodation and food(breakfast, lunch, dinner) and free wifi .if we want traveling charges it will be extra and that depends on our hostel location and distance from the college.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
