Calicut Medical College leads the pioneer in healthcare in Northern Kerala.oOne of the best place to do Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology in Kerala. Admission to the course is via LBS centre for science and technology based on your twelth marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is very relevent in todays context as Cardiovascular Illness and treatments remain as the main cause of death in the world. Role of Cardiovascular Technologist in a cathlab includes maintenance and operation of Gantry systems,OCT,IVUS Equipments, ROTA Systems,EP systems and supply of Devices for intervention. Course is comprised of four years.Three years of Academics and one year of compulsory internship. Exams are conducted annually with 50 percent pass score.Difficulty level is from easy to moderate. After successful completion of the course we can join the internship programme lasting for an year. Faculties of Calicut Medical college is prestigious as it holds experts in every area like Electrophysiology,Structural Interventions, Coronary Interventions etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Compulsory Internship is provided within the college itself.We can do internships outside whether paid or non paid depends upon the institute we are doing internship on. The college internship donot give any payment but we can attend geenral practice during internship and that will give us money.
Placement Experience :
The college directly donot offer any placements but the college has its own vast alumni network which is spread around the world.With those connections we can easily switch to international careers after gaining the required experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Course is comprised of four years and fee is paid annually. First Year - 21970 Second Year - 20680 Third Year - 20680 Fourth Year - 19970 Candidates who are not children of government employees will get a refund of the fees via E grants. Students belonging to SC/ST category has a fee of only 2000 per year. Mess Bill depends on the hostel which you are residing on which is to be paid monthly.If you are an SC/ST candidate you will get a refund for that too.
Campus Life :
Department comprises of Two State of the Art Cath Labs,Three Echo rooms,TreadMill Lab,Holter Room, Lecture Halls, Department Library,Free Wifi etc. The College Union provides platform for cultural and sport activities via the Interbatch Arts and Sports Event conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Campus has its own college hostel inside the college area which is seperate for Boys and Girls. It costs an annual rent of Rs 7000 which is refunded for SC/ST/OEC candidates. Food is provided within the hostels via Hostel Mess which is billed annually and there is an option for SC/ST candidates for the bill to get refunded.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
