- The classrooms are spacious and can easily accommodate the students. The crowd is very nice
- There is s social exposure through many events, seminaars that are organised
Dislikes
- Heavy fines are imposed for all reasons such as attendance, fsilure in mst's, etc.
- Lack of proper parking facility which creates a chaos on the main road outside the college
Remarks :
The college reputation is good and also offer placement. The admission is provided on merit basis. There is no interview or group discussion. There is 85% of the seats reserved for the students belonging to the UT pool. Although the college has good infrastructure but it lacks a good parking facility which often creates chaos on the road. The teachers are mostly nice but some them hardly come to the class to teach. The college provided great exposure to opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Although the all the faculty is well versed with information some don't have a proper way to impart. The methods of teaching are somewhat vague. Sometimes teachers don't come to the class to teach. Although they are cooperative some teachers are really partial. The term exams happen twice a year. There are mid semester tests and regular class tests. The paper is mostly set from the reference books.
Placement Experience :
Many recruiters pitch their offerings such as icici bank, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The placement is a process based on aptitude test, group discussion, interview. The average package is around 5.5 lac per annum. The highest package is around 10 lacs and lowest is 2 lacs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is 5% increase in fee every year. There is examination fee around 3000-4000 in every semester. The varies from course to course. There is no concession on the basis of category. Although their is scholarship for the same, based on merit as well as the caste.
Campus Life :
There are many clubs and societies that organise events on regular basis. Different departments organise their fests and then there is student council that organises the main fest,VIRASAT. There is s sports with all equipments and annual sports day is also organised
Hostel Facilities :
Although I didn't opt for the hostet. The hostel is alloted on first come first serve basis. The menu for the hostel is predecided and 3 meals are provided daily along with evening snacks. The food is okish. There are two types of rooms, AC and non AC

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
