- offers a supportive campus life, with a good infrastructure but not that modern.
- Faculty members are skilled and encourage students for paricipating various oppotunites.
- Clubs are benificiary as they organize various events which provide knowledge and practical experience about job market and industry.
Dislikes
- infrastructure is not much modern in some buildings of the college.
- Internet server issue often occurs in university resulting in loss of access to students portal, etc.
Remarks :
i choose GLA university for several reasons, i.e. the university is well regarded in north india for its diverse academic programs, good infrastructure, and strong emphasis on industry oriented learning. Its focus on practical exposure and excellent placement opportunities stood out to me as i aim to gain skills relevant to current job market. The university is well known for its popularity in too good placement packages in desirable branch, and is ranked NAAC A+. Hence, i chose this college. some bad aspects are like buildings are old and classrooms are not such as like shown in films with a big hall, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i find the course curriculum to be well structured with industry and market standards. the syllabus covers a mix of subjects (technical, non technical and some based on personality) and emerging technologies ensuring that we gain both theoretical and practical knowledge. the faculty members are skilled in their respective fields and approachable in their nature.
Internships Opportunities :
As of now, no internship offered from the college, but one of the technical clubs in college, hosted an event in my first year, and as the winning award of which i got my first internship, which was a remote internship. Internship oppotunities are available from third year of the academics. Common companies are Microsoft, JPMorgan, Capgemini, etc. In my internship days, i have worked on a project of real world industry based ecommerce website, as a frontend developer team lead.
Placement Experience :
placement and job opportunities at GLA are one of its strong points. the university has a dedicated placement cell and clubs too, for making the students placement and job ready. They organize drives, workshops, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process. Eligibility criteria for placements is CGPI more that 8 and minimum 75% percent attendance. The average package offered in GLA varies in 10-25LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure includes an annual academic fee of 180000 which increases by 5000 each year. Hostel charges range between 65000-105000 per year, depending on type of accomodation, AC or not, etc. chosen. Additionally, mess fees are fixed at 40000 per year, which runs in no profit no loss rule. This structure ensures flexibility in accomodation options while maintaining a consistent increment in academic and hostel fees to match inflation and facilities enhancement.
Campus Life :
campus life is fun and full of energy. the green and peaceful campus makes it a great place to study and hang out with friends, but sometimes not your girlfriend or boyfriend, otherwise the bouncers will take you up to proctor board if found making love. there's always something happening like festivals, cultural events or technical events, fests, etc. currently a cultural fest is going on named as Srijan. there are more than 15 clubs in GLA for students (cultural and technical and non-technical ) based on their field of interest. annual events and fests held twice an academic year.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel life is mix of comfort peace and challenges. peace and comfort at hostel rooms and challenge in mess to fight with that untasty food sometimes, not everytime. twice or thrice you'll get very tasty food, at day times, you'll get decent one, but personally for me, dinner is not the one to get my tummy full. food quality is decent, hyegine is maintained. Hostel are in two types, one is hostels and other is wings. wings are a better option for accomodation if you're a OCD person. You'll get bigger rooms, better furniture personal window, but for this you've to pay more.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
