- Faculties are very friendly and helpful. They never hesitate to be there for us. They are supportive and helps students.
- Campus is surrounded in a green environment, plastic free. There are many treesa and plants which makes the campus a beautiful place.
Dislikes
- Campus is in limited area and no extracurricular activities are much entertained. Not much programs are allocated for students to be free from the academic stress.
- The exams are are so often. It's because of the mgu curriculum. But it's so stressful as a student. And the classes of one sem starts when the exam of previous semester has not even got over
Remarks :
One best thing is teachers of my department are the best in teaching and we have a friendly bonding. The coaching is best with two internals before the semester exam. There are no exam's required for BCA for now. If you're considering a party collage I won't recommend scms as there isn't much programs and not much importance for sports. Also this is a small campus with cute greenery infrastructure. Teachers are very supportive. Many group discussions , debate forums,clubs etc are also there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mgu curriculum is actually not designed properly. What we study now isn't useful when it comes to future. Many unnecessary theory is added.All the faculties are well qualified and most of them teaches well. According to me semester exam evaluation is very strict. So that is one thing to consider
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is that no supplementary should be there and skills are a must . MNCs like Infosys,vipro, TCS etc have visited but lately they recruite only a little students. The heighest package is 10 lpa .it depends on your performance and company and the position you are placed at.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One semester fee is 35000 inr. If there are additional add on courses etc some extra charges maybe applied. In this 35000 all the fee is covered including lab, library etc. while the students who have merit the fee is relatively less ie 25000 inr. Scholarships are not provided by the campus . You can apply extra and the fee will be deducted accordingly.
Campus Life :
Aroha is main ug fest in sstm where a variety of programs like treasure hunt,coperate walk, coding competition, management team etc are held. Usually it takes place during January. Every textbooks are available at library and for BCA we mostly have PDFs of teachers which is easier to study. Sport's aren't much bought up in the campus. There are sport's day but usually no sports period or no proper football ground is there in the campus only in basket ball court. There are various clubs w different activities

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
