Detailed review on Jain University , Bangalore

- Hostel is mine one of the favroute . Right now i am in boys 2 sharing hostel which itself is considered as most luxirios building in the entire campus as the hostel is well equipied with all the facilities and also the hostel will give you feel of some 5 star hotel .
- Road near to main gate of the college is also mine faorute as the whole road is surronded with lush green trees and grass area adjacent to it adds more beauty to it .
Dislikes
- I don't like some teachers of mine department as they more inclined towards their language student only and they will only support them in every manner in which they can .
- I also don't like classes of our college as they won't give you the feel of the college life , they are more like school classes and they don't have proper seating seats for the students
Remarks :
Before joining this college i wrote various college entrance exams but other college were not fitting mine expectations so I decided to choose Jain University . Mine primary reason to choose this college was because of location in the bangalore city which is hub of I.T. companies which becomes edge over other cities in India . Admission process is quiet simple as it is private college so you will easily get seat in the college all you need to do is write their entrance exam "JET' which is very easy and you can crack it with ease of cake . After writing the exam college management will make a call to you regarding conducting one interview as per your convince . Interview will be just a formality as they will ask you to come on one zoom call and one faculty will be there to conduct the interview , he will ask you very basic questions like your name , your board through which you wrote your 12th exam and how much you secured in your 12th boards exam and some more basic questions .
Course Curriculum Overview :
College curriculum is some what very poor in relevance to industry point of view . They are still teaching the subjects which are very outdated also faculty over here are not that qualified they don't even have proper knowledge of subject they are teaching . When you will take admission college management will tell you that 80 % of their faculties are Phd holders but in reality only 5 - 10 teachers are actually phd holders for rest of them college has kept the phd holder with their name in order to attract more admissions but in reality they are have just completed their bachelor's degree . Their teaching methods are also very poor , they will just come and read ppt in the class that's it they won't teach you in the class and if you are favourite to the teacher then you can get the whole question before the exam only . Over here exams are conducted after every one month as we have 2 internals and 1 semester exam pattern .
Internships Opportunities :
I cracked one internship in 4th semester which i got through off campus . College won't give you lot opportunities for internship all you need to do is to try for off campus by yourself , as even most companies don't come on campus for the internship so better you start preparing your self right from the first year itself . There are some seniors who cracked internship in some really good companies through off campus hiring . College will ask you to do a mandatory internship in the 4th semester which you need to find by yourself only as college won't help in cracking the internship and also no company will come on campus for hiring so you only need to try your hands in the market .
Placement Experience :
For seating in placements session should not have any active backlogs and cgpa should be more than 7.5 , if you are full filling both the criteria then you can seat in any company placements which visits the college . Every year some very good companies visit the college for placements but the issue is with students only as they are not qualified to crack interview for such good companies and at the end the companies which are visiting for campus placements does not come to college very next year as they think that students for whom they are looking they won't get over here in this college and drop the college for the placements session for the very next year . in the year 2024 around 70 % students were placed and highest package offered was 42 lakhs (domestic) .Some of the good companies visiting college for placements include Oracle , LG , PhonePay , EY etc . Average package offered was around 6 lakhs .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When i wrote entrance exam for the college i cleared in the first attempt itself I was rewarded scholarship of around 1 lakh rupees for core CSE branch but when i decided to choose CSE with specialization in cloud technology they told me that i won't be eligible for any kind of scholarship as it is valid only for core CSE branch and not for specialization . So overall right now i amp paying 2,75,000 per year , every year college management is increasing the fees by 50 thousands for every upcoming batch . People you come from management quota have to pay some what high fee as compare to others . College also provide scholarship to students whose parents are form defence sector , they are provided with somewhat 10 % fee wavier every year .
Campus Life :
To be honest college does't have any college life for students as they don't conduct any good fest or technical event all what they have one annual fest which they called it as "Infinity" but that too is not as per expectations . If you are someone who is looking to enjoy his college life then you expectations will go down the drain as you won't get any good vibes over here in college . College has only one library that too is not equipped with any good facilities they don't even have proper seating area for students in the library . College does not hold any kind of proper sports facilities for the students you won't find even single sports that can played in the campus properly . All what they have is one playground of around 1000 square feet over there only they will conduct every sports tournament and nothing more than that and if you are someone who is more interested in sports and extra curricular then this college will spoil all your expectations .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are somewhat good , for boys there are 3 hostels . One is 2 sharing which has somewhat high fee , other are 3 sharing hostels one is on campus and other is outside of the campus both hostel have lower fee as compare to first one . For girls 3 hostel are available as follows 2 sharing , 3 sharing , 4 sharing fee for girls is somewhat lower as compare to boys . Mess food is average as this college is purely veg so you wont' find non -veg menu in the mess . And if you are someone who is pure veg person then you better opt for hostel only inside campus as college is located deep inside small village so you won't find any good options for veg food outside the college . There are plenty of PG's near the college but all of them serve non veg food only so there is no option for veg people but to opt for the hostel . You can also rent any flat near to college as there many flats near the collage which can rented at lower price .

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
