Remarks :

When deciding on a college , several factors influenced my choice, but the most compelling were REVA University Infrastructure and vibrant campus vibe. The College has a reputation for being diverse, with students from nearly every part of India , and it truly feels like steeping into a campus straight out of the Karan Johar movie. The infrastructure is impressive, spanning approximately 45 acre of lush green land and featuring multiple food outlets (over six! ) , branded stores, fancy auditoriums, a basketball court, a cricket ground, and more. The abundance of clubs is another highlight. For my course, Bioinformatics, there was no specific entrance exam or selection process like group discussions ( GD ) , Personal interviews ( PI ), or written test. Admission is straightforward, you pay the fee, and you're enrolled. While this simplifies the process, it also means there are no merit based Concessions or Competitive requirements for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I picked Bioinformatics because it perfectly combines my interests in medicine and engineering. Science has always been my thing, and this field felt like a great mix of two, Plus, Bioinformatics is such a powerful and evolving stream, it seemed way more promising compared to a lot of other options. Most of the faculty are highly qualified with many of them either having complicated or currently pursuing their PHD, While that is great on paper, it can be a bit of a downside sometimes. A few professors seem more focused on their own research, which can take away from their teaching at times. For the most part, semester-end exams are on time, but there have been some delays. one thing that's a bit annoying is how quickly the next semester starts after exams. there hardly any gap, which can feel overwhelming. Lab sessions, especially the internals are a mess. They are almost always poorly coordinated and we usually get last minute notices, which makes it super stressful.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, I have opted for internships during my time at REVA University, but most of the these opportunities came through personal effort rather than direct college placements. The career Development Cell does provide some guidance but for niche fields like Bioinformatics, but students often need to take the initiative to explore options outside the campus ecosystem.

Placement Experience :

Placements at REVA University are decent, but they can vary depending on your course. For technical streams and engineering related programs, there is generally a good number of opportunities, However for a specialized course like Bioinformatics, Placements are a bit niche, and you might need to take the initiative to find roles that align with your interests. Internships are encouraged, but securing a good one often depends on your efforts and networking skills. you can sit for placements irrespective of your CGPA but few companies require specific grade points like 8.0 and above some of the major recruiters include Dell and Deloitte, Highest package was 8 lakhs for my department and average package is anywhere from 3 LPA to 7 LPA After completing my degree, I plan to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

2 years ago, the annual tuition fee was Rs 55,000. However this year They have increased it to Rs 70,000. In addition to tuition, students also need to budget for lab Fees, which are approximately 1k to 2k through out your 3 years degree. Semester end examination fees also range around 1k or 2k , with an additional one time convocation fee of Rs 3000. REVA University does provide Scholarships, Primarily targeting high- achieving students. For instance, if you scored 9.5 or above in your class 12 exams, you might qualify for a Scholarship of up to Rs 10,000 in your first year. Prospective students and special quota students are encouraged to explore all available Scholarships and financial aid . However the University does not offer entrance based concessions or additional fee waivers. Admission is straightforward, you pay the fess and your in. Despite the fees, REVA University is relatively budget friendly compared to many institutions in metropolitan cities.

Campus Life :

The one thing thing that keeps everyone at REVA motivated to show up every day is the campus vibe and the social life. The place is always buzzing with activity, and being part of a University means you're constantly around people from different fields. This mix of disciplines often sparks creativity and leads to some pretty interesting Collaborations. The flagship event , REVA Deepotsava is a must watch experience where thousands of diya beautifully decorated during Diwali. The central library is massive and well stocked with everything you'd need, books, journals and even e-resources for research. As for Classrooms, they're decent enough. if you're serious about sports, they have got solid infrastructure dedicated coaches. That said, unless your representing at the national level, it can be tricky to get a excuse for missing classes. Honestly there are so many clubs at REVA now that I have lost track. One of the more prominent one is the REVA Student council.

Hostel Facilities :

Though I wasn't a hosteller, I heard plenty about the hostel experience from my friends. The facilities are top notch, with perks like weekend movie screenings, a gym, laundry services and even a salon. However one recurring complaint was about the food in hostel mess. while the quality of the food could be improved, this was somewhat balanced by the wide range of food options available on campus. REVA boasts a massive food court and 6+ more other eateries offering everything from pizzaz, burgers, and desserts to south and North Indian delicacies Overall, the infrastructure at REVA is impressive and well maintained.

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
