Remarks :
I selected the college for the availability of my interested course(cyber security). The cut-off is determined by the conveners according to the results or it may have the payment seats which could take payment. I prepared for it via EAMCET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course curriculum was very interesting and very knowledgeable. Qualifications of teachers relatively match to the course and their teaching matches with the standard needed for the students. Exams were conducted at regular timings as semester will be three months long, and in the first month we have mid1 and second month we have mid2 and last month we have semester exams along with practicals and the difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
venky's.io - cyber security and software developer intern where I performed algorithmic optimizations for five algorithms in case of reducing their complexities of space as well as time making the most optimal solution for an algorithm in python, c++ and java.
Placement Experience :
Getting placements needs 65% in over all academics from school to the till date semester. Many companies more than 20+ visit our college and many offers were made. Roughly out of 1000, 950+ are placed. Highest package till date was 51 lpa and average falls between 5-10 lpa. My plans are to continue the job offered in placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have paid 55000 for the course fees due to scholarship but generally fees is 90000 and 20000 should be paid by everyone which includes the library fees, affiliated charges and etc. Also has seperate bus charges which very according to the distance you stay.
Campus Life :
They conduct a three day complete fest in a whole year where we have Traditional Day, Annual Day and DJ-night. All important books will be available in the library. Classrooms are pretty good. Sports are a rare occurances and only conducted once in an year. There are many social and tech groups such as Edam, GDSC, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food is good according to my friends as I am not a hosteler and the living in the hostel was also considered very good. Hostel registration is done by visiting the hostel which is nearby the college of MLRIT main campus. They provide bus facility to reach the college on time. If needed any room or PG, search in Gandimaisamma or Dundigal for ease in travelling.

A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
