Other than the keam exam there weren't any interviews or written tests. I chose this college because it was in the top 3-4 ranks of ktu. The only issue i have with my college is that there aren't any facilities for extracurricular activites like sports. We don't have a ground . The overall infrastructure is not that great.
I chose this course because i had interest in learning about semiconductors ,diodes and stuff like that and i heard that there are going to be alot of opportunities for people doing this course in india in the near future.the college faculty are ok . Some of them are great at what they teach and some make the subject uninteresting.they are not too friendly but aren't bad.we have really tight schedule . So far i have written 2 sem exams and im in the middle of one right now. The syllabus and the exams aren't that tough it's not something you are gonna fail if you have studied a little bit but the problem is the exam time table you'll only get 2-3 days gaps between the tough papers and will get like a 2 week gap for a subject with 0 credits.it's like the university loves watching us suffer.
No i haven't yet but a lot of my friends have . The internship they did wasn't a paid one i have heard that it really helps you get into the professional side of things. And they also give training to increase your skill level like in coding and other stuff
Average placement opportunity. 2-3 core companies will come. But a lot of banks and other IT companies will come. So you'll have a decent chance to get placed. I know a lot of seniors who have got placemet.
My tuition fees are like 1000 per semester anf the total fee for a semester is around 19,000.For general category students o think it's around 40000 per sem. So for me i have to pay around 38,000 a year.
Life at campus is ok. We don't get college fests and other programmes too often beacuse we lack a college union right now. Our college has a total of 6 acres of land which is very small compared to other colleges. the reason why it's so small is probably because its situated at the heart of trivandrum city. There are a lot of advantages from this too. The college being small leads to more interactions between departments and leads to more connections.college does not have good facilities for extracurricular activities . Our college doesn't have a ground . We do have a small library filled with techinical books. Half of the computers in the computer lab doesn't work right.overall the infrastructure is average. The name of our tech fest is "Aagneya" and the last time when it was held was in 2022 so i still haven't experienced it. im hoping we can conduct it this year if the union election goes well. I almost forgot about our hostel facilities .we don't have a men's hostel.
I don't have a hostel . Me and a couple of my friends took a home for rent and we are staying there. When i first joined i was in a PG because our college doesn't have a men's hostel. The food was really bad all the curries were watered down and it had no taste. But the hostel was nice we had a tv and a washing machine and one of the rooms were air conditioned too. The fee per month was 6,500 rs .
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.
Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
Also there is nothing there is no internship cell or nothing in our college and placements and job opportunity are bad . The firm's or companies are the local ones the from near our college there are big companies
2 or 3 job fairs will happen per year all major companies will arrive good placements recruitment is based in interview and other activities you involved in college a good grade Is required people's from outside the college can participate in this job fairs
