- the college faculty are so humble and the campus dont have much restrictions .
Dislikes
- the distance i travel from college to home is 70+ km but i cant afford the hostel as it is expensive.
- the course time allotted for each sem is just 4-5 months
Remarks :
the course i am pursuing is mechanical engineering , all over andhra pradesh our college has the best offerings for mechanical engineering in terms of studies and placements . the admission takes place through 2 process ,one is state level enterance exam (EAPCET) and spot admission . the management spot admission doesnt require any interview or written examination for admission . our college is one of the best college in andhra pradesh therefore the cutoff ranks are low, for oc the cutoff for mechanical is around 10000 .
Course Curriculum Overview :
i am so passionate about how the world works and what else can tell me better than the mechanics of the world . thats the reason i have choosen mechanical engineering .the faculty in our college are so much qualified with a vast experience in the field of teaching mechanical courses. there are continues tests to mark up every students performance . the exam are quiet tough but the way our professors teach makes it easier to score good grades in every exam ! the teaching methods are so unique and easy to understand . to conclusion our college has one of the best set of faculty in this mechanical engineering field . our professors treat students so good with well manners .
Internships Opportunities :
i have not opted any internships as of now as i am still studying in my 2nd year of college . the are so many internship opportunites available with our college . so many local companies and named companies offer internship with a minimal stipend .
Placement Experience :
the placement rate is above 95% every year all over every course offered by the college . the eligibility criteria for placement is a minimum credit points with above 6CGPA . so many named companies come to recruit students for their companies such as tata steel, hyundai , tata motors , etc. . the highest package last year was 22lakh from the campus and 18 lakh per annum from mechanical course . the average package is above 4 lakh per annum every year . i have planned to pursue masters after my undergraduate degree .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure is fair enough with starting of just 74000rs of tuition fee. if you are from backward caste then government will give you a scholarship of your full fee so you can study for free(only if you are from andhra pradesh).apart from that there is a training and placement fee of 4000rs every year with a building fund of 3000rs . the regular exam fee including lab exams is 2300rs per semester . the course is affordable enough !!
Campus Life :
the campus and campus life is has also made an impact on me to choose this college ! we have a very bad library with a book collection of over 10000 books ! the book collection gets upgraded every week with new editions and new journals every week . we also have a digital library for students to strengthen the books . sports and extracurricular activities are very well promoted in the campus with different clubs for different activities runned by students like dance club , music club, sports club etc. . even the college website is developed and runned by our own students ! the classrooms are so spacious with a projector in every room . every course has different block if building with well maintained washrooms and corridors .
Hostel Facilities :
the food quality of food is so amazing in the hostel!! the menu is also versatile for students health and different taste experience . the hostels are well maintained . the hostel food is maintained and prepared hyginecally . you can directly enrool into hostel while taking the admission or you can enroll from the admi block . the hostel is little bit expensive but it worth for the quality they provide . the college is located in chintalavalasa where there are lots of rooms and pgs avaliable and affordable . as the hostel is little bit expensive students more often choose & opt for rooms and PGs.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
