It's basically that I was already late for my admission for the degree colleges Soo i went for Joseph's in the beginning opting for bca but got to know that I hav to give an exam for that and then they will approve me soo i was tensed what if they don't take me and I'll waste my time here soo i went to ramaiah for bca stream and got to know that the admissions for bca has been closed a month before itself and then u realised that if ur opting for a course that's in hype better do it asap cause they reserve the seats very soon So later on I also asked them for engineering management seats are available they are like nope we hav also closed that a month before Soo please choose ur stream in no time and what's ur interest is in and do the admission asap And later i remembered PPL saying that msrit comes in the top 3 for engineering so i thought y not choose a cs stream in this clg And that also hav the best placements and better future opportunities.
The course I hav taken is bsc (emcs) that includes electronics, maths, computer science and English mandatory with language you choose I hav taken this course in this clg though I hav bca in st. Francis that's very near to my home and others tell that bca is better than bsc but I took bsc in msrcasc coz as they are in the top 3 for engineering soo i was like their computer skills might be good soo i had taken cs in bsc that's emcs And also for better placement options The teaching skills are good and the faculty is very friendly and they appreciate in every step to look forward We hav lots of facilities in the clg campus and in the department
I hav not been to any internship for now but as me only being in the 1st year college faculty has given atleast 4 to 5 interships to join if interested soo college also supports us to get into interships that's including paid and non paid
I properly don't know abt the placement options and criteria but I hav seen banners in the campus telling that this student got a placement in this company with a package of 51 LPA and i was amazed I really look of something very much like that I really love the placement opportunities and they also provide department of placements where we can investigate and also get trained by the faculty for the interviews
The fees i paid for the 1st year is 80,000 and it will go on for the next 2 yrs but only changes when I hav secured a better cgpa in the finals and sem exams, and if any of the student joins the clg out of the Karnataka state they hav to pay more than a lakh for their fees The fees can be paid in installments like 40000 during the admission and the rest 40000 after a month or two.
We hav a lots of extracurricular activities throughout the year We also just had a blood donation camp in to the clg premises. Ee get to hav grand celebration of many festivals included diwali, navratri, Karnataka rajyotsava and many more We go through lots of seminars about awareness and justice We hav proper spacious classroom and a projector in every class with proper lighting and ventilation There are lots of sports options in the clg like weight lifting, athletes, basketball and many more options including NCC We also hav rotract club We hav a large variety of library and a lots of book availability with encyclopaedia and research books included We hav a very huge campus and great canteen facilities
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
