To get admission in this college in the course 'Master of Science', I gave the national level exam 'IIT JAM (Joint Admission test for Masters) in 2023. I got AIR 495 in that exam. After counseling, I got IIT Indore. The good aspects of college are the following: Good curriculum for master students if want to pursue research after the Master. Hostel and Dining facilities are very nice. The lab facilities are also good. The bad aspects of the institute are the following: It is 25 km away from Indore city, so transportation issues are there.
The course curriculum of Master of Science (Mathematics) is the following: In the first semester, I studied five courses: Real Analysis-1, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equation, Probability and Statistical Methods, and Discrete Mathematics which were for 17 credits. In the second semester, I studied five courses: Analysis-2, Complex Analysis, ALgebra-1, Computation Techniques, and Partial Differential Equations which is for 19 credits. In the third semester, I studied 6 courses and did M. Sc. Research Project Courses. The courses were Functional Analysis, Topology, Operations Research, Numerical Analysis, Algebra 2 and Probability Theory. In the fourth semester, many electives are going to be offered by the department. Some of them are the following Theory of Transform, Special Function, Numerical Linear Algebra, and many more. In a semester, we have to write 2 quizzes, the mid-semester exam, and the end-semester exam.
No, I did not opt for any internship. Most of the master's students are interested in research. So, they are busy with Net, gate exam preparation. So, they did not opt for the internship. And they are busy with their project work.
No, I did not sit any placement recruitment. Most of the master's students go for higher studies like PhD, M Tech. Some students also go abroad for a PhD. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. from here itself. Research opportunities are good here.
We have to pay the fee four times during the whole course duration. so, in the first semester, I paid 64,810 rupees. In the second semester, I paid 50,210 rupees, and 46,265 rupees in the third semester, and I have to pay approximately 43,000 thousand rupees. All the turion fees, caution fees, registration fees, and admission charges are included in the total fees. There is a 20,000 rupees difference in the fee in comparison to SC, and ST candidates. For master's students, there are no scholarships at the institute level, but students can avail of scholarships and financial aid from NSP and Inspire scholarships.
The name of the fest which is organized by IIT Indore is 'Fluxus' and it is generally held in March. The Library facilities are very good. 8 books can be issued at a time to a student, and they can renew these after one month. These are two halls which are dedicated to self-study, and they are open for all days. The sports facilities are also awesome. There are cricket ground, football ground, swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, and indoor badminton courts. Gym facilities are also available for students. There are many clubs like Avana Club, Academic Council, Gaming Club, and many sports clubs like cricket, badminton etc.
The food quality of the mess is good. There is a lot of variety of food from north Indian food like paratha, poori, and chole bature, and south Indian food like Idli, dosa, upma. Indore famous Poha is also on the menu. There are three caterers in the mess. Every month we get a form to get the required caterers. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. There are six hostels. Every master student gets a single room. We do not share our room with others. Ro water facility is available on the ground floor of the hostel.
This course was the amazing combination of art and medical science you need to be perfect in both the things. Most amazing and adventurous field ever . Faculties of our college are highly qualified and well known dentists. There teaching method was also very unique and new we have yearly exam schedule for each years
normal placement but knowledge of teachers are good but at that time experience teachers are skip the college and new teachers are join which have not any high experience in teaching life which are freshers
We have a dedicated cell career development cell specially designed to help students for internships career guidance and special training based on their preferences they guide us and provide us the internship based on those preferences.
Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal
If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.
Yes , there is job opportunities in this college because too much companies are come with placement in this campus . Company are Come like a very well settled in It sector industries they give us opportunity to make carrier bright
MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
