- Campus Life is the best. The whole campus is lush green, with squirrels, lot of place to chill out.
- College has a great and diverse crowd, where a lot of people meet and gather.
- Everyone is friendly, I don't know about other colleges. But, this college is great for communication and socialising.
- Friends, peers and seniors are much friendly.
Dislikes
- Placement cell is not that good, they only offer average package.
- Some Faculties especially Electronics one sucks, they only create nuisance.
- Attendance policy is very strict, and teachers only threatens us for marking absent
Remarks :
I have only marked my eyes for Bangalore. But not belonging to Karnataka. So I started preparing for Comedk exam and studied hard. Scored a rank of 6900 in comedk exam and got selected DSCE college with ISE branch after the 3rd round. Exam COMEDK. Counselling COMEDK. 3 rounds including 1 mock round in the beginning. . Good aspects include a decent placement of the college, great crowd, excellent coding culture and very much club activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
ISE is thhe branch with most scopes in the future.because there are many students who are from CS background which creates a rat race in the market. Faculty are not so top-notch, but they are understanding and helpful. They are highly qualified while some are very new. All teachers are not so experienced. In the first year, the faculties are very mediocre while in the higher semesters, the faculties are a bit experienced according to the market needs. Note:- The electronics faculty of this college is the worst.
Internships Opportunities :
As of now, Im in 1st year so I'm not getting any internship at this point of time. However the college provides internships from the 3rd year. Around 50% of which are paid internships... Yes, the recruiters need to be specified some projects in the resume.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements is set by the recruiting companies and not by the college. However for sitting in almost all the recruitment tests, 8.5 CGPA is the safest. The companies which visits the most from past 5 years are TCS, Wipro, Accenture and Cognizant along with some other companies which offers around 4-5 lpa only. While theree are some good companies like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Capgemini which offers around 10-15-20 papa jobs The top companies like Microsoft, Zomato, Swiggy offers a high package. MS allowing the highest package of 56Lpa CTC previous year only..... Around 85-90% students get placed every year. My plan is getting an offer from the college itself or will try looking for off campus placements outside campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees is 281477 per year which becomes around 325000 at total which includes Exam fees, Lab fees, development fees, VTU registration fees, stationary and others... For students of other states, there's no such provision of scholarship and all. Comedk students are charged 281477 per year as tuition fees and other which makes up 325000 per year.. KCET students are charged 85000 only per year, which maximum adds up and make 100000 per year... The college help in scholarship if there's a provision of scholarship given by your state based upon some scheme or something like that. While the college rewards a bit of scholarship award at the end of final year only to the meritorious students.
Campus Life :
The campus life is superb in this college.. Thiugh Im an introverted guy, not mixing up with many people but the diversity over here attracts everyone to take part in activities. Vibration is the official fest of the institute, and we are going to have the fest just after 3 days, very excited to take part in the events... It usually at the time of end year i.e., December month. There is an ocean of books in the library of the college, and journals are available are there. Sports and extracurricular activities are very much promoted and encouraged in the college. I think, every week there's an activity done by the various clubs of our college. Annual Sports and interdepartmental sport events take place every year in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel this year and honestly the hostel fees is way high than usual. Imean, the rented rooms and PG outside the college campus charges very low as compared to the college hostel. you will save around 60-70 thousand rupees in 1 year if you choose rooms outside college. But yes, that will charge you with the fun and enjoyment you have inside college. The food quality is not at all good, evey month there's a case where we see a worm is detected in the hostel food. So it is not at all hygienic and warden and other staff members do not take any action regarding the quality of the food. Registration process for hostel is very simple, just pay and keep the receipt with you. Choose any one room out of 259 rooms in NRI(2 sharing) and 50 rooms in Indian boy hostel (4sharing) and there's a women hostel also similar to Indian boys hostel(4 sharing). So a total of 900-1000 students live inside the campus only.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
