- The college infrastructure was very good; it has some of the oldest buildings in Kerala. There is a main building on the campus, Called Kacheri Malika. Which was an archaeologically protected building by the Government of Kerala. It was a court under the Kingdom of Cochin. The college has the second biggest library in the district of Ernakulam. And the laugh facilities in this college are great. Additionally, every department has its own library and lab.
- The time I spent in this college is one of my favorite moments in my life. I was glad I studied at UC College Aluva. I was able to make friends from various parts of Kerala. I have been able to see a lot of celebrities because there are a lot of cinema shootings happening there every year. And the faculties are very friendly and where you are resourceful. They help to understand what I am looking for in my life.
Dislikes
- One bad thing about this college is its placement facilities. Even though it is one of the oldest and most reputed colleges in Kerala, it has no proper placement facilities. There is a placement sale in this college, but it has no use. UC College mainly provides a bachelor's in Arts and a bachelor's in fundamental science. So, the placement opportunities are very low for these students.
- Some of the noun teaching staff of this college are very rude. Every year there will be some issues between students and no teaching staff. Because of their bad behavior, some parents don't want to send their kids to the wonderful institution. Theree were some sexual harassment cases, and the college authorities failed to handle this type of case in the right manner.
Remarks :
Union Christian College Aluva is one of the oldest colleges in Kerala. It has a rich history. It is one of the first colleges a student in Kerala will opt for there under graduation. They have so many famous alumni, including Paravoor T. K. Narayana Pillai, the last Prime Minister of Travancore and the first Chief Minister of Travancore-Cochin, actor N F Vargees, Director Lijo Jose Pellissery, Director, etc. The admission procedure is based on marks scored on Plus two exam. We have to apply through MG University UG single window perform.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college has excellent faculty members. Everyone is well qualified for their job, and their teaching skills are excellent. In my department, we have 7 faculties. Two of them have a doctorate. Every faculty of mind department is an expert in their field. The curriculum is set by the University, so it is the same for every college except MG University. Our curriculum was very good. It cover all thing literature student have to learn.
Internships Opportunities :
During my graduation program I done an internship in a newspaper named Deshabhimani as a local field reporter. I got a opportunity to work with some senior reporters in that newspaper. This internship is the reason why I choose media ask my career.
Placement Experience :
The college mainly provides basic degree programs. Including a bachelor's in Arts and a bachelor's in fundamental science. So the placement opportunities are very low in this college. But there are courses like microbiology also on this campus so they get placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got admission to the management quota. So I only have to pay the tuition fees. It was 1800. And we also have to pay exam fees. That amount is said by MG University, which the college is affiliated with. I have an excellent scholarship, which is provided by the Government of Kerala to economically backward students. So every year I will get the exact amount of money I paid in college back, through the Egranz scholarship
Campus Life :
Overall campus life was excellent. The college has a lot of planes to hang out. The college is in Aluva, one of the important cities in Kerala. It is very near to Kochi. So we have a lot of places to go and spend our time. Every Major festival is celebrated in the college. Including Onam Christmas and Ramzan. And various organizations also conduct different kinds of programs. Union inauguration is one of the most important programs. Different student political parties are active in this college. They also organized stage programs for students.
Hostel Facilities :
There are hostesses in this college, but very limited seats for boys. The boy poster's name is Chockos. I took a paying guest facility near the college. A lot of such facilities are available very near to the college. So accommodation is not a problem there. It will cost around 6000 to 10000 per month for such facilities.

There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
