- The infrastructure of the college is very good. The environment is really nice,the faculties are quite friendly.
- Campus Life is good since it has good sitting arrangement around the ground, engineering campus is large.
Dislikes
- The classroom facilities are not good, there are no sufficient classrooms for students.
- The number of events conducted by college is very less. Very few events are conducted.
Remarks :
I applied to BGS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY since it was affordable to travel from home. I got into this college through kcet exam. In first round I got into this college, after that I have paid kcet fees and got admissioned. Later document verification was held in college. The infrastructure of the college is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose AIML course because it was new and different. It included new technology and robotics related topics. Qualification of the faculty regarding AIML course is not sufficient, even the labs facilities are not proper. They conduct 3 internals each sem. Each internals have 1 month gap. Sem exams are conducted 3-4 months after each sem starts. Exam are related completely to syllabus refering previous year question paper can help to get passing marks.
Internships Opportunities :
From college I have not got any internship opportunity. Outside the campus I have opted internship in Matryxsoft Tech LLP with on stipend only for knowledge gaining purpose on subject Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunity is not assured for everyone. The eligibility criteria for placement depends differently on the company that visits, few company asks for cgpa above 6, few asks for students with no backlog history, and few focuses on branch. Company visited this year are NTT data, HCL, Codeyoung, Ms Palle technology. Currently 40 students are placed from all branches in total. Highest package is 7 Lpa by Codeyoung and average is 4 Lpa by NTT Data. 60% of students getting placed. I am planning to get into company that I am placed after getting the degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year-wise fees I am paying 90,293 yearly. Tuition fees is 83,723 Library fees is 1,000 NSS fees is 50 Cultural Activities fee is 200 E-learning fees is 2,000 Magazine/journals fee is 300 Registration fee is 1,000 Sports develop fee is 250 Sports fee is 200 Internet charges is 500 Scholarship details: I am receiving Ssp scholarship of amount 28,000 in total per year.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is really good special ground is great. In every odd sem sports would be conducted for 1 week. It includes athletes, cricket, basketball, kabaddi,throwball, volleyball. In even sem farewell function is conducted for seniors by each branch seperately. And ganesh chaturthi is celebrated grandly in month of September. In library we get all books related syllabus, every day newspaper, college magazine, IEEE paper for project works. There is club for coding,sports,web developers.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a day scholar, but my friend stays in hostel and she says that the hostel message is not so good. The number infrastructure is fine but the food is not so good, sometimes food would be empty and served late. Morning idli,dosa,pulao afternoon rice and sambar with curd, evening snacks like chips ,puffs, coffee,tea, milk, biscuits,cake, icecream anyone. Night roti, curry,rice and sambar with curd. Hostel fees is paid separately to the college depending on number of sharing they chose. We can also rent room it's affordable than hostel.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.

We do see companies and lot of posters inside campus of placements Cgpa with above 8 are dligible for placements here and usually 4th year students are eligible Student named abhinav choudry was offered 52LPA last year from AIML and by company called AMD And in 2020 someone got placed 45lpa from amazon 52lpa was the highest here And the average for my course is around 6-7 lpa Percentage of students getting placed is around 65-80% rest do degree or may not be placed My plan is do m tech after getting degree here
