- The greenary of campus: The 300 acre campus is filled with lots of trees and plant.
- infrastructure: NIT calicut has the one of the best infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty: Most of the faculty will be nice and help u but some them are rude like they had to take some revenge on you.
- Location of the college: The college is located in some remote area 23km from kozhikode railway station
Remarks :
I choose NIT Calicut due to several factors, including its proximity to my home, which ensures convenience and reduces travel during holidays and my Jee mains rank , which aligned well with the institute's cuttoffs. The college's strong academic reputation, excellent campus infrastructure and impressive placement records were my choice.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually i choose my course (EEE) because of my rank. Most of the professors are did there degree from highly reputed colleges and teach very well. Most of them give study materials regularly with every lectures they give. There will be 2 exams in 1 semester.
Internships Opportunities :
In NIT calicut there is internship for students completing 2nd/3rd year during summer vacation. Students with cgpa>=6.5 can only apply for internship.Top companies like google,amazon etc come for taking students for internships.
Placement Experience :
for taking part in placement a student need to have CGPA of 6.5 and above.Student get placement in top companies like Google, Amazon, Goldman sacs etc. The average package is 12.11lpa and the highest package is 50.64lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual tution fee of NIT CALICUT is 1,25,000 which is waived for sc and st. With that we have to pay 23000 for 4 years. At the time of admission there is a onetime fee of 53000 from which some amount are refundable.
Campus Life :
The campus is spread around 300 acres with lots of trees and plants. There is a library with high speed internet, AC study rooms and with availability of many book so that u can study. There will many extracurricular activities which will be held regularly in which we can participate/
Hostel Facilities :
for first year there are 3 seperate hostels. Each room has a occupancy of 3 persons with seperate bathroom and toilet. you will get food for 4 times in a day. There are different option of food in the mess. Menu changes every day.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
