Likes
- I like the college infrastructure as its ok and has a canteen and a cafeteria and a ground and usually sitting out of the college is great and peaceful if there are less students.
- The college lifestyle is good with all the friends you can make and fun you can have woth the events that are scheduled.
Dislikes
- I don't like the College timings as its from 9 am to 4 pm and they make you go home if you're late and by this the attendance also becomes an issue.
- There is a lot of traffic due to the area having a lot of Institutions due to which there are traffic jams and if you get late you are made to do things like stand and go to home or they take mobiles etc the timing of this college is a major issue to lookout for.
Remarks :
I chose this college as i got the seat here after taking the Ecet exam and i got offered a scholarship and as the Civil Engineering branch was not available in other colleges i had to choose this college. There are written tests like Eapcet and Ecet to get the admission or you can get through the Management quota where the fee structure changes as there's a hike. There are no other Gd's , interviews if you want to get with management quota then the written test isn't required.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As my batch of 2021-2025 i thought was last batch of Civil Engineering was as there were no juniors to us but now some of them have joined in the batch of 2024-2028. So the curriculum is ok and i chose this course as it was of my interest . The faculty is Ok and their qualification is M.tech or some have phd in engineering they teach "Ok" like it's moderate and their teaching method is good as we are of less strength so we were provided with a room that has no projector but all other branches have good classrooms with working projectors used fpr teaching. The mid-term exams there are 2 of them each of them being 2 months apart from start of the semester they scheduled according to the syllabus completion and the endsem exams are conducted 20 days after second mid-term after the completion of syllabus the lab internals and externals are also there among those.
Internships Opportunities :
As iam from civil engineering branch i also opted for internship bit there are very less chances according to branch but you have to go outside of the college and search for internship yourself may be paid or unpaud but other branches can get help from placemnt cell and do internships which also can be paid or unpaid.
Placement Experience :
There's a placement cell in the campus where the students are prepared for campus recruitment with different courses and this programme is called CRT and there is a seperate fee for this too some of the recruiters are like HCl, Genpact and some other small organizations the highest package offered was i guess 12 lpa most of the students get placed accorsing to their academics and skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college tution fee at my time of enrollment was 76000 rupees per year excluding other fees like library,jntuh,exam fees. But now for my juniors it increased like 90000 i availed the minority scholarship but the management students can also negotiate the fee by speaking to the management and the other fee including all other like training offered, examination, lab ...its upto 10000(gross) and for CRT it's 20000. The students can also join with state scholarship schemes by taking the Eamcet(now Eapcet)or Ecet exams too.
Campus Life :
The campus life is great as there's everything available like places to enjoy during the day. There are different fests like Technical fests and the annual fest is named Aquilla and is conducted every year in February after annual day and there's alot of other events which are conducted too. The classrooms are well i guess "ok" only as they are not too good nor too bad. While the library is good as our college has both digital library and a regular library with a wide range of books available most of them are genrally course related which students can have if required for a certain time. The college has many extracurricular activities and sports events too as there are different sports like cricket, volleyball , basketball.. which are conducted and sports competitions are conducted too. There are many clubs like Albedo, sports, Cultural, photography, Arts, dance... all these clubs and other groups and pages on social media like sports club spec, Arserena, enigmadanceclub like these.
Hostel Facilities :
There's only hostel of college which is now available for female students and the other hostel is now under construction and those hostels have all the amenities in college. There are many hostels/pgs near the college within a very short distance.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
