I was hell bent on doing law, and my parents were hell bent on me not leaving Bangalore. Naturally, after nls Christ was my obvious choice. The addmission process - around December, college applications are out and they cost 1,500. There are two options BA LLB AND BBA LLB available. Two different forms are required for the different programs. Soon the candidate will be given a date for a test, since I belonged to the COVID batch, it was online. After the aptitude test (which is very easy if you studied for clat), there is an interview round. This is the most crucial step of the admission process. A basic understanding of simple legal terms would be very beneficial. The interview round comprises of questions like tell me about yourself why have you choosen this college a one min speech on any topic given by them a few subject matter questions These rounds are quite easy of you have studied for clat.
The course is good, even if you have discrepancies, you can raise a query and they actually look into it. Faculty is good. Not every teacher is good, obviously but there are teachers who will go out of their way to help you. There are also teachers who will go out of the way to destroy you. There is a rigid system that is followed at uni, if you don't know where to draw a line it's going to be very hard. I came from a very chill school, so shifting to an environment like this was very challenging for me initially. But you eventually figure out where you can draw on the edges.
I have done multiple internships. The college internships cell helps you get a lot of internships too. Stipend is a very very rare case in law internships. Internships are very important aspects of law college, they help you build the necessary contacts.
The placements cell at my department is very efficient and good. We get good opportunities and good placement options. Eligibility - some companies require a minimum cgpa of 3.00/4 and no back logs. Major recruiters - SAM, CAM, TRILEGAL, AZB, JSA, POOVAIAH, KHAITAN, ETC.
If you are not a karanataka resident, the fee is 200000, if you are bangalore student, then it is 175000. There are various scholarships that students can avail depending on their locality, yearly income, etc. the scholarship that suits you the best can be choosen.
Campus is amazing, we get sushi to like aloo Paratha. There are a lot of clubs and groups that you can be a part of when you want a break from studies. There are always stalls put up in the campus which sell food, small items and games, etc. There's some event always happening at college. Library of Christ is top notch. Good availability of books. Christ has numerous sports teams and extracurricular activities on department and uni level. All the clubs are essentially run by students.
I have not opted for a hostel and i wouldn't recommend it. The curfew is 8:30 p.m. You will get a million pg options and apartments options at back gate which is very feasibile. If you don't mind an extra mile, Koramangala is the best place to be situated at.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
