Remarks :
For admission in banaras Hindu University i have to give central university entrance test conducted by national testing agency every year around april to june. After exam we have to fill forms for councelling online in the college Website and then lists have been prepared in different rounds according to that our selection occurs . Negative aspects are that exams conducted by nta are not smooth mant problems occurs and it depends on which centre you are giving your exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
From this year banaras Hindu University is following national education policy which includes different courses and includes major , Minor, skill enhancement course, ability enhancement course, value added course and multidisciplinary course. It looks good from outside but the classes just run from morning to evening and it's tiring. Also the management is not at all good, in initial days we had to run from offices and write letters to get out work done. Teachers are good and helpful leaving some and helps most of the time
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So I'm in first semester and from this year due to new education policy ba hons course is of 4 years. Tution Fees for first semester is 1150 rupees which is likely to be same in all semesters. There's no lab and all in my course so no extra charge for that. Financial aid are available for physically challenged people but for sc st i don't have much idea but it's same of general
Campus Life :
Student life at campus is very good, as banaras Hindu University has big open campus, it has trees everywhere which looks good, infrastructure are good but maximum classes don't have good management as the benches are dusty and bills are everywhere. Social life is very good also depends on which type of people you are surrounded with. Our university has clubs for dance, singing, for upsc preparation, cinema, artist, ngo, rhetoric etc. website is pretty smooth. Many sport events occur in our colleges and also there are coaches from whom you can learn. The central library is really big and more than 1 lakh academic books are there. One can borrow books from library for ug 2 at a time and for pg 4 at a time.
Hostel Facilities :
For first year i got lal bahadur shastri hostel which is good 2 people at a time shares a room, have good security and water cooler, has common washroom which is not good enough but it has geyser. Around 5000 rupees was taken for 1 year and only merit students gets the hostel. So it is pretty affordable. Talking about mess food it ranges from low to average but you get unlimited food in just 50 rupees in normal days 80 rupees on the paneer day

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
