- The infrastructre of the college and the faculties are a great plus point of yenepoya medical college
- We also have got simulation labs which is only present in 3 or 4 colleges in India
Dislikes
- Since the number of students is more than number of buses provided the back and fourth travelling to college and hostel is a bit difficult
- The curfew for girls is 6:30pm and the boys is 9 30pm which is not liked by the students
Remarks :
I had three options to choose from a deemed university and i opted for yenepoya medical college knowing about its worth being a medical graduate from there. The infrastructure of the college and campus was the main thing i heard good about and i experienced it well being a student here. The admission procedures were everything online through NMC with 3 rounds of allotment process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the year of 2019 the medical colleges all over india follow the CBME curriculum.In such a curriculum we are given more of a clinical exposure along with theoritical knowloedge. We have the best faculty in every department including authors of the various books we use for academics. The faculties are very approachable and creates a friendly atmosphere for the students to reach out. Every year we have 3 internals with an university exam at the end of the year.
Internships Opportunities :
Im still a medical student.So only after 4.5 years of my course i can do the internship that is for 1 year. And the stipend will be provided every month in the duration of that one year of internship.
Placement Experience :
In our course we dont have placements like other courses. We have a an year of internship after the course of 4.5 years making the course duration of total 5.5 years. We get stipend every month during internship. The stipend depends upon the college management
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure depends on the quota you are in.If you are in a government seat then the fees can vary from 75000 to 200000. If you are in a management seat the fees will be 2200000 and for NRI seat it will be around 3500000
Campus Life :
The campus life in yenepoya is very commendable. We have got cultural fests sports day including State and national level tournaments of football and cricket being held every year.We have got a central library which is open till 12 am midnight for both boys and girls.We are also provided with bus services to come back to hostels at night.We also have cafes inside the college campus and hostel compound.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel. We can either choose 3 sharing or 4 sharing. We can also opt for Ac or non Ac rooms. We have different menu for each day which gets changed every month. The food quality is good . The hostel is compulsary for every student

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
