- Out of the many cons i mentioned, the one thing i like about my college is the lab and the laboratory equipment. Every lab is fully equipped with all the instruments or chemicals that we may need.
- I like the fact that national and international seminars are held regularly to provide exposure about the field to the student. Many reputed personnel already working in the pharma field are invited to give insights about their experience which is indeed very helpful to us.
Dislikes
- I dislike the fact that there is no social life, there are no inter college fests and there is no student association too. Without a student association how are students supposed to covey their wishes to the management.
- Faculty is not at all student friendly and not approachable. Including the HOD and principle everyone is very rude even to parents.
Remarks :
I did not face any interview or group discussion for admission. The admission process is pretty simple for students who give the EAMCET entrance exam, if they score a rank below the cutoff of the college, they are alloted a seat in that college, and have to pay the tuition fee through online portal. I chose this college on the basis that in telangana for pharmacy, this college is ranked in the top 5 in terms of infrastructure, teaching and fee, one major reason to choose this college was that it is affiliated to Osmania University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum according to me is pretty hectic. We have 8 semesters across 4 years. 2 months after the start of the semester we have internal theory and internal lab and there is another internal theory and internal lab just before the semester exams. Each internal exam is based on half of the syllabus completed during that time. The number of subjects varies according to the semester and each subject has 5 units in a semester. Faculty is the thing i am the most disappointed about, they are not at all student friendly, they keep targeting students based on the opinion they build on us and their teaching methods are also very conventional sticking to textbook teaching and nothing out of the box.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internships available in the college, they do not provide any sort of paid or even unpaid internships. I think we just have to apply for internships outside of the college. I was very disappointed in this regard, as such a reputed college is not providing proper placements and internships to the students.
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered just for the name sake, last year we had a lab offering jobs for 18k a month with one year unbreakable contract. My further plans are to study masters either in India or abroad and the apply for a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have to pay a tuition fee of 72500 rupees yearly, along with semester fee before the exam and breakage fee which is basically laboratory fee. Semester exam fee is around 2000 and breakage fee is 200. Now i have this fee structure as i applied through EAMCET counselling, without any income certificate. For the candidates who provide a valid income certificate, they have to pay the fee of 46500 rupees yearly. And for the people who joined the college through management quota have to pay around 2 lakhs yearly as tuition fee.
Campus Life :
There is only one fest yearly called a national pharmacy week conducted in the month of november every year on the occasion of national pharmacy day. Only during this week we are allowed in many cultural activities like sports, singing, dance etc. There are no clubs or even a student association in our college. The only good thing is that we have national and international seminars being held every now and then which gives us exposure to the pharma field.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not applied for hostel but many of my friends have and according to them the rooms are decent and the food is edible but only problem is the curfew which is very less around 6pm which does not even allow them to go out for getting essentials.

The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people
Course Curriculum Overview :
One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
