- the college campus is very small.no environment spaces for students and the college ground is so long from the college so that’s a main disadvantage when in the sports programs and other match events.
Remarks :
before get into this college i heard alot about st thomas college for its cultural events,technical events,arts and mainly placements.later i found out some of my cousins graduated from this college and some got placements so finally i decided to apply for this college and i got admission in computer department and im hoply waiting for placements
Course Curriculum Overview :
i choosed computer science course because of its value in the modern world and future world.IT field is widely expanding nowadays so learning it wont be a regret.st thomas college have also a good placement opportunities in IT field and the internal exams are conducted correctly in a serial time period so graduating st thomas will help me for a good opportunity in future studies
Internships Opportunities :
yes i opted for internships in the field of coding,data entry,software engineering fields at tcs,vipro,techno park. i completed 10 days internship at wipro in the field of IT. i worked in python and django platforms
Placement Experience :
placements are the main attractions of this college more than 500 students were placed in different companies from this college each year.no backlogs are the eligibility for applying for placements.companies like accenture, infosys, tcs, vipro etc are the main companies of the college .accenture make more than 100 placements each year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
my admission fees was around 5000 rupees because i got seat in sc category so basically the fees is less when it compared to other students.my first year fees was around 5200rs so each sem fees is 2600 something and the second year is about 5000 including record fees and third year fees is around 5000 rupees too because of project fund,lab fund etc
Campus Life :
campus life is awesome i really enjoyed my college life at st thomas college thrissur.the college so famous for it’s cultural and technical events.srishti fest conducted by computer science department is the main program of the college the fest is conducted in 3/4 days that week was a blast weekend for all students at the college.dj,band competition,dance competition etc… are the main events
Hostel Facilities :
i really wanted to experience a hostel life but st thomas college is a short distanced college from my house so my parents didn’t allowed me to stay in hostel but i heard about the hostel that college hostel i so nice because the native kerala food and the programs conducted at each festivals are give us the vibe of our home s

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
