- The faculty is very good and experienced teachers .
- College is also vary good and campus Life is also good .
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is very average because of the area limitations.
- The college open area Is very limited and big programs are not conducted here .
Remarks :
I choose this college because it is the best college in the Calicut University and has 57th position in NIRF ranking and has NACC grade of A++ 3.7 out of 4. So I prefer to study this college.Admission process is based on Marks and reservation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer science because I wish to get an job in IT sector and made my career in IT industry.The faculty of our department are well experienced and well qualified teachers with Phd and other postgraduate degree holders.one of oru teacher have an M.phil and Phd.The exams are conducted at semester end without fail and results are published as fast as possible with in one month.
Internships Opportunities :
College don't provide internship but the placement cell in college provide internship assistant and provide information about different internship .But so many students are doing internship in different companies as online and also offline and some of the students even get a job after the internship because of the performance in that company.
Placement Experience :
Oru College has the best placement cell and has a good placement count. In 2024 the overall place oru college get is 318 and average salary package is 6 lpa.The visited recruiters are accenture,TCS and some other companys are also come to recruit students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am studying an aided course.In my first year I paid around 12480 as full fees for the first year including registration and other lab fees but we have to pay the exam fees when the exam time .That will be around 100 per paper and registration fees 50.In my second year I paid around 7500 as semester fees and also padi 3rd semester exam fees.My friend who is an sc reservation candidate and his fees is slightly different from others . He as some discount in his fees. The college also provide assistance for scholarships. I am a NSP scholarship holder and I get 12000 rupees per year as scholarship.
Campus Life :
The college has conducted so many fest by different departments as astra ,emprasa and sristhi and so many programs and fests .The college also conducted college union inaugration ,onam celebration . The college has a big library and has so many books about different subjects.The st.thomas is also famous for the sports because they have won so many championship in different sports items like football, hockey,etc.The college also have different clubs such as entrepreneurship development club,dance club ,IT club,social club etc
Hostel Facilities :
I am not a hosteler but my friend is a hosteler and he is in the college hostel .When I asked him about the hostel he said that it is very nice and the food is good . The hostel registration is in college when we take admission here .

Placement Experience :
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
