Likes
- Faculty , academics and placements , education are really appreciable things in my college.
Dislikes
- I don't like my college life because there are so many rules they are no phones, no roaming , no freetime, canteen closes at 3pm while the campus closes at 5pm, no other places to stay or spend our hard time
Remarks :
I joined this college through engineering entrance test (EAPCET) conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. So the eligibilty criteria for my caste is the every individual should score atleast a rank of less than or equal to 60000(rank needed for OBC caste), so there is no other tests or written exams needed we can enter or got admitted by online councelling. Come to the admission fee every person should pay 6000 (for the students of 2023-2027) for the infrastructure development and this fees will increase year by year and also the bus fees or residence fees if you are availing them. For management students they have to pay the donation amount , infrastructure fee , bus or hostel fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chosen this course (Data Science) because of its wide range of opportunities and demand in the market. As we come to my academics and faculty , our college is an autonomous college under JNTUK kakinada University, so our college follows the academic structure decided by the University professors. My college faculty are all well knowledgeable people as come to their strength of subject and most of our faculty have atleast an experience of 10 years and most of them are PhD holders. Come to the terms like assessments and mid examinations , my regulation is R23 which has two assignments and 2 mid examinations per semester which are conducted time to time with a mid level of difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
College will provide you and guide you through some internships but we need to focus and willing to do, they help us how to do that internship or with any other related doubts, and yes my college will help students to improve their professional skills.
Placement Experience :
I am still in 2nd year of my course but I know that my college is bringing so many companies for placements. The eligibilty criteria for the placements is students should not have any backlogs , they are only allowed and the recruiters will also have their own eligibilty criteria like the students who got over 9cgpa like that. The highest package offered was 18lpa while The average package is 6lpa The recruiters for our college are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc..
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The students who got admitted through EAPCET need not to pay large amount but anual fee for those students for my course is 43000/year. While the management students pay the maximum of 1,50,000/year and atleast of 2,00,000 of donation fees included to them , for the management students the college fees might be reduced a little bit based on student extra curricular activities like sports or etc or by requesting the college management.
Campus Life :
Our college have various clubs like Ecell, jeevan kaushal, innovation club, NSS, NCC, and recently we got an opportunity from GDG(Google developer groups) and I am a member of GDG group. Our college celebrates fest named KITS YUVA in February month every year. And our college takes sports as an important activity and encourages students who are interested in sports and everyone should participate in weekly sports period and Come to our library it consists of various types of books , previous projects , journals written by our faculty , and story books , and biographies etc... There are websites for each club in the college which is running by the people of the club on their own. The main important thing is our college does not allow mobile phone , motor cycles , into the campus and they don't even allow us to roam around the campus in our free time. Very strict college and disciplined college.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.
Placement Experience :
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
