A review on my College basis
Likes
- Faculties are quite friendly and solve doubts very easily. Infrastuecture of college is very beautiful and is tempting. Campus life is good .
- The college has good programs but based on academics the college is quite strict .
Dislikes
- Faculty way of teaching is quite conventional .some teachers are not that good at teaching .
- Campus life somedays are boring and also students cannot be in college for not kore than 6 o clock.
Remarks :
I came to this college because my cousins passed out from the same college. Also the college is veru good academics wise and there were no such GD’s and written tests for admission process.There is no such cut-off criteria or something .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is much shortened than the earlier scheme and i chose this course because I was deciding to choose either CS or ECE so i opted ECE. Faculties are well qualified and well knowledgeable and teaching method is quite conventional. Term exams are held in every three months which is very quick due to covid issues and the exams held for us were quite simple .
Internships Opportunities :
Yes ICT Academy which was led by the Infosys Company based on Data Analytics .There are lots of internships provided either online or offline.Also provides government internship oppurtunities in final yr with stipent of max 50000rs.
Placement Experience :
There are lots of companies coming for recruitments and has goid job oppurtunities .The college also has startups for students to start there own companies. Some companies dont care about backligs but some do .The highest salary package that came was last yr and that was around 100000 per month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College fees are tob paid for each semester which is almost around 36000-50000rs . And coming to hostel the mess fees is fixed which is Rs4800 and room rent for attached rooms 29000rs and for non attached 19000 and for single rooms 30000 per yr. For laundry 8000rs per yr and newspaper 800rs per yr even though we do not read it we still have to pay. Also the fees is very likely null if there are scholarships for students and approved quotas.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good and also we have culturals fests like Azure many small programs are also held every Thursdays and also we get programs for two-three days during festivals .Also the college has a good library with good collection of books. Sports day is also held but not that good . There is student council for holding programs and ajce Club for culturals and has a website to track the students performance overall called AES AJCE.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel has rooms for accomodation of about 2500 students and food is better but not that excellent .Menu us fixed but can be changed based on students choice.Registration process for hostel rooms starts during admission time for that we need to fill a form and select the rooms based on our choice and book the room. The rooms will be completely shuffled up with unknown people.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
