So My college is Vaagdevi Engineering College situated in Bollikunta , Warangal . This college is situated in outskirts of Warangal , with a very vast area. This college is having both autonomous as well JNTU. I was joined in ECE department which is JNTUH affiliated. PROS : The people whose rank varies from 80k-1L rank can take admission here . The faculty here are really talented and helped me in my whole academic journey. The Management here is so strict which made lifes easy . In fact , just because of these people I guess every one took career as the important factor in our lives at the point of moment. Apart from studies , the faculty helped us more in real time projects and In my 3rd year , they arranged a CDAC program which was my mini project. And alot of co curricular activities are also conducted. There are many walk in interviews provided for us and made us help in getting jobs and provided aptitude classes from the 1st year.
I have choosen ECE stream as like everyone out there thinks that I can choose both hardware or software after my graduation, and I dont regret choosing it. The qualification of faculty are mostly MTECH and few are graduated in IIT as My Control system Sir as well Network Analysis Sir have graduated in one of the reputed IIT My VLSI ,EDC sir have done their PHD and Head of Departments are also HOD. The teaching method of the faculty varies from person to person however some chosed to explain in pratical way and they even gave some tasks to us to do and guided to understand the topics in depth. There are 3 main exams in whole 2 Mid exams each of 30 max marks and considered best of the two in the final (these are considered as internal exams)Difficulty is moderate One main exam where we dont write exam in our college, instead he will have centers for this.Difficulty is hard Apart from this our lectures will be conducting mock tests write after every unit which made us more perfect
I have done my intership in CDAC company. I really no need to explain about the company, but let me explain you about my project here . I have done some projects as wheelchair moved using directions of the patient, I have done this using microcontrollers and microprocessors. CDAC people have come to our college picked a few people and trained us and gave us projects and some ideas and helped us to brainstrome and tackle the problems. I m even certified with Embedded System Design using ARM Cortex M3 which is organized by CDAC Hyderabad . We even visited the CDAC Hyderabad for couple of days.
The eligibility criteria for placement is zero backlogs with 60 percent overall, whereas some of the companies are even okay with 2 backlogs with 55 percentage. I would say around 15-20 recruiters' visited our college including hardware companies as well software companies. The highest package offered is by BJYUS for business development associate role with a package of 10LPA and Software Associate Role with 6.5-7LPA package , whereas both are for Banglore Location. The average package is 3-4LPA by valuemomentum company for Hyderabad location. The percentage of students getting placements are about 70 percent. I have joined in a company as an Associate Analyst.
I had 40k per year which i can pay 20k each for one semester. The tuition fees and development fees are all included in this itself . It varies from course to course. It might got increased now but at the academic year of 2016-2020 the fees structure was 40k bucks If the parents are from non government category , the fees will be sponsored by Telangana government. Defiantly, the course price is high after 2020 and I m really not sure about the fees structure at this moment
Every year at the month of February or March where have activities like dancing ,singing , flashmob , treasure hunt , classical dancing and students are encouraged to keep the stalls in the events of their interest. There are many books and journals in the library, for every branch there is seperate block for us . For every block there is library. The classrooms have CCTV and every where in the college for the security purpose and outsiders are not allowed unless they have access. Even other branch people were not allowed unless that is crucial. There are many socials groups for my college. One main account and sub accounts for JNTUH VEC and Autonomous VEC , and in sub there are several social groups for Branches as well. I m mentioning a few here ...."vaagdevicollegeofengineering " --- INSTA ACCOUNT vecwarangal -----INSTA ACCOUNT iete_vec----INSTA ACCOUNT The iete_vec account is runned by iete group team There is even IEEE in our college
In my third year I was in hostel which is 400mt far from college. It is a moderate maintained hostel . The registration fees is 500 and cost for a month is 2500 bucks. I have chosed 4 sharing room here. The food here is good , here there is even separate kitchen for us so that we can cook whenever required. The management here is too good , they are like guardians.
Placements and internships are very good in the college and the way placement training cell is very good at teaching and placement are medium in college.overall the placements in the college are very good.
Many of our senior got placed and many of our seniors got the intership oportunitys also Highest package is 12 lpa and the lowest is 4 lpa My plans after completion of degree is not going to software side because I want to track a govt job
The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.
Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills
I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities
From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.
Placement and job opportunities are good recently recruiters came to our clg and many students got an opportunity to showcase their talent and some got selected to interviews as well this year the highest package was 8lpa and the percentage of students getting placement are around 60-70% with self work too
Our college is nice and also I am getting know how to get and I got it know the course is the best and . faculty is nice and they are teaching well . Ia m under standing all subjects and asking questions on it.
Noo internships are available at our college.onlyy academic wise it is good Always asks to do certifications.crt helps us in the placements wise.for now we didn't placed in the college placements.eligibility is based on the company's visiting the campus.
There will be fewer placements right after completing BBA. One must pursue an MBA to get a proper placement but still, JNTU attracts companies like TCS, Infosys, HDFC banks etc. Student with a minimum of 7 GPA and no backlogs can attend the drives
