The main factor is the brand name of DSI ,it has good reputation everywhere so i went for it no we did not face any kind of tests during the admission process, once you have been allotted the college through cet you just come to college and submit some documents and your admission is done
The course curriculum is also pretty relevant to industry standards , as it is autonomous the college chooses newer courses with industry visits and workshops for the same , so the syllabus is pretty useful id you study well Coming to the faculties all the faculties are kind and always available apart from some rare cases, they are also having good knowledge
The internship opportunities of service based companies are there but the chance is extremely low out of 3000 only 10 to 20 cam get it as they are 1 lakh per month internships But Product based companies of 10 to 20k stripend you can get if you have basic coding skill and no backlogs
The internships and placement is good but you need to have : Zero backlogs Good coding skill 7.5 gpa atleast Not average and participate in all events like havkathon and have done atleast one internship and 2 relevant projects And if you are an average student the max you can get is 4 to 7 But if you are Excell you can get upto 20 25 But it's like 1 in a 100 chance so it's upto you
It is pretty affordable if you come from KCET approx of 1 lakh fees per annum If you come from comedK then 2 lakhs per year Managenent is 4 lakhs per year depending upon the branch If you enter through kcet it is definitely worth it as there are good placement opportunities
College is pretty chill, but the campus is very small it feels cramped. The college conducts two fests where artists are also invited Antaragni during december Esperanza during may. There are large number of clubs for people with passion Media club Art club Singing club Dance club And all of these are managed well by students The infrastructure is not so great it is pretty average compared to other colleges
Nope i don't stay in the hostel as it is very expensive and also the accessibility is bad if you want to go somewhere I opted for pg 7km away from college in the city as it is better for accessibility as it has metro shops and hotels hospitals near the college there also there are pgs but same problem of accessibility
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
