ANU is one of the best and top most university in Andhra Pradesh that's the reason I have chosen this college. I have worte APPGCET in life science for admission into Microbiology course I got 246 rank in APPGCET and secured free seat in the university. Admission is through APPGCET website they we will be updated about everything.
Course is of two year with total of 4 semesters 2 semesters per year. Two internal examination is conducted per semester, total 4 theory papers and 2 practical papers are there. We have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
Internship option is not provided but we have project in the final semester. This project consists of 100 marks which is included in overall course marks. We don't have any internship opportunities available in the course curriculum but internship can be arranged by teacher if asked as they are highly qualified and experienced professors.
There are no placements guaranteed placements occurs depending upon the visits of any company. Some company may come for interview last year interview took place but the pay was lower and only a few company came for placements.
My yearly fee is 47200 and total course fee is 94400 I had paid Rs.240 at the time of admission I got free seat in the university so I don't need to pay the total course fee it will be paid by the government itself for this I have worte APPGCET. Management quote seat costs Rs.73000 per year in which some amount should be paid at the time of admission. Semester examination fee,lab fee, online course fee are separate it should be paid by the individual irrespective of quote in which their got seat.
We have library, centralised computer lab, canteen, bank facility within the campus. Students cell, women's cell , anti-ragging club, etc. are there in the campus. We even have separate college for sports and physical education with many sports and games.
I have not opted for hostel but the hostel facility needs to be improved it is not upto the mark. First year and secured year student hostels are separate hostel is also separate for engineering students pharmacy students and other course students for girls
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
