Likes
- The campus locality is the best with greenery and scenery views with mountains.
- The faculties with degrees in their field from prestigious institutes like IIT's, NIT's, they have much knowledge and experience.
- Lab environment and classroom ambiance is also quite good.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is of main concern because college administration doesn’t seem to concern about it.
- Library operates during college hours but it should operate till 8pm in my opinion.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is one of the most top ranked government college in Rajasthan, this college is ranked after MNIT Jaipur and IIT Jodhpur. I applied for all government colleges in Rajasthan through REAP from which I chose CTAE as top priority because of its infrastructure and ranking. And also CTAE is located in Udaipur which ads on a plus point as Udaipur is one of the most beautiful cities of India which has a great scenic beauty and culture. Udaipur is also known as city of Lakes. To get admission into CTAE the student has to apply through REAP which accepts JEE Main score and 12th Percentage. To get into Computer science branch the student has to at least score 90 percentile in JEE and at least above 70% percent in 12th board.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would rate my course curriculum 7 out of 10 because they can serve better curriculum by adding recent technical aspects like data mining, cloud computing and mobile application. The curriculum includes industrial summer training and projects which helps students in real world applications and technologies. The department plays emphasise on theoretical and practical aspects of subjects. They can improvise in course curriculum by adding topics on recent featuring technologies like cloud, data mining and many more. the exams are conducted frequently, the timing of exams is different for mid terms, practicals and theory exams. The mid term is of duration of 1 hour, practical exam and theory exams duration is of 3 hours.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for internship in 2nd year and 3rd both. In 3rd Year I have done internship at CodSoft in Web Development for 2 months which was unpaid. In which I acquired many skills and implemented them in real world applications. Also I made many projects such as I created a website for gym, created my own online portfolio and also created a scientific calculator The college does not provide as such internship to students. The students have to look for internship on their own.
Placement Experience :
Placements of this college are good and has an average package of 4.5 lakh. Most of the students get a on campus placement and almost 60-70% of students get placed from every batch. After 6th semester onwards students become eligible to apply for on campus placements in college. The main companies which offer placements are AppPerfect, Secure Meter, Vedanta, Wonder Cements, Advaiya, In time tac. The highest package is offered by AppPerfect which offers around 6 lakh to students, and average package offered by companies is 4.5 lakh. In Secure Meter 13 students are placed this year. In AppPerfect 6 students are placed this year. In Advaiya 8 students are placed this year as per my knowledge. My plans after getting degree is to go for higher studies and I am going to appear for GATE. And also if I get a decent placement then I shall go for it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is as follows: There are two types of seats SFS(Self funded seats) and GAS(government aided seat). For freshers the fee to be deposited at the time of-admission is 46000 including Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fess, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges and for GAS seat the fee is of 18000 for SC/ST/Female category and 26000 for other categories. The GAS seat is only available in Agriculture and Mining Engineering. The fee is same for all categories for SFS seat. There is a TFWS(tuition fee waiver scheme) seat which is provided for students who are eligible for this seat as per college eligibility criteria. The scholarship is provided for student as government and private scholarship. The government’s scholarship is provided as per NSS(national scholarship scheme) for eligible students and private scholarship as the criteria prescribed by them.
Campus Life :
Campus life in this college is quite good they conduct very less fest. There are two types of fest, college fest and university fest. The last college fest was held in April 2023 which includes many activities like cultural activities, coding contests, E sports, technical activities and extra curricular activities. The university fest was also held in April 2023. The college library named as KN NAG library, it comprises of rich collection of books around 60000 volume of books, Phd thesis, Project Reports and standards. The classes are quite good in ambience with decent furniture. The sports activities are held regularly including cricket, basketball, table tennis, volleyball etc. There are various tournaments such as inter branch and inter college tournaments. There are various social and technical groups and clubs run by students such as Genesis(innovative and technical group), Safar Taq(cultural group), Kala nidhi(a group dedicated for music and dance).
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for college hostel from the first year itself. College hostels are quite good and affordable. But the hostels now require a renovation and college is lacking in this field. Hostel are provided with every essentials such as electricity, water, WIFI, RO water, bed, study table, chair and almirahs. Also each Hostel have a ground to play outdoor sports and ample parking space. Each hostel also have a decent functioning mess which provide quality food to the students, there are three meals included in mess which are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mess area is clean and hygienic. Every day cleaning of Hostel and mess is done by cleaning staff. A student can apply for hostel by filling hostel admission form which is available in chief warden office. Also hostel and mess fees are quite affordable. If a student has opted for hostel then he will not seek to look for a rented room or PG because Hostel is well equipped with every kind of facility.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
