- The faculties are very nice and approachable and teach properly. The college has a regular feedback system and the management actually heeds the responses of students and takes proper measures to improve student experience.
- The college holds fests regularly and encourages student participation in the organization of the events. The crowd in the college is good. Though the campus is not as big as the main campus, it has a lot of seating places where you can sit with peace and under the shade.
Dislikes
- The college management is not very organised. They don't finish the Syllabus on time and rush it at at end week. Neither do they provide the exam timetable early. They always give the timetable 1-2 days before the exams.
- College fests and exam dates have collided due to which exams had to be postponed. The management could do better with proper ways to organize events. Sometimes the preparation starts 2-3 weeks before luke to find sponsors which gets really hard for the people working.
- 85% attendance is mandatory which is a bit hard to maintain. Hostel food isn't that good according to my friends living in hostel and there is not a lot of delivery platforms like blinkit, swiggy which deliver to the campus since the campus is at the outskirts, on the highway.
Remarks :
The tag of DSI, along with centralized placements with the main campus DSCE made me and my other friends choose this college over any other colleges. The admission process was very smooth got over fast. The admission faculties were friendly and guided you through the process smoothly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer Science engineering is a vast field with a lot of sub branches. We can major in any specialization afterwards like AI or DS. So taking this was the better choice. The faculties in DSATM especially the 1st year faculties are very good at teaching their subjects and are very friendly and approachable. They are very qualified themselves. Most of the teachers have published a lot of research papers, done a lot of projects and published their own textbooks. They are very interested in the on going technology trend and expose us to real world applications a lot. There are 2 internals held over a semester and SEE(semester end exam). Along with CCA and various certification courses.
Internships Opportunities :
no I haven't yet opted for any internships yet but seniors have said that the internship opportunities are quite good since, there are a lot of labs in college which prepare you for internships and job opportunities
Placement Experience :
Since I am in first year I don't know much about the current placements going on. But oncle of our senior had bagged a on campus internship of 8LPA. The average package here is 5-6LPA. the placements are 100%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For Comedk students: 2,81,000 Skill lab fees taken at college: 25,000 for Comedk students 15,000 for KCET students 27,000 for Comedk students from outside Karnataka Examination fees: 6,000 per year (2 semesters) Scholarship is available for students from SC, ST and OBC categories.
Campus Life :
There are various fests held in DSATM. The biggest fest is Esperanza and is usually held during the beginning of the year. Then we have Antaragni, which is an inter -department competition held during October-November. Various tech fests and hackathons are also held by different departments. A lot of colleges like BNMIT, RNSIT, DSCE, BMSCE etc come and attend, so the exposure is quite a lot. Library is quite huge with a lot of soft copies and e books available which can be easily accessed by the students. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, podiums and proper fans and ventilation The college encourages sports and hold a lot of inter department and inter college sports competition. It even has NCC. There are a lot of clubs like music club(paridhwani), art and literature club (kalakriti), halycon (fashion club) , 2 dance clubs and etc.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
