Good college but can't expect more placement

- I only like about the college is they have every facilities inside the campus itself like stationary and canteen
- And they have more programs like ALVAS VIRASAT
Dislikes
- This college is very strict and they don't let us to enjoy college life
- The teachers are rude they don't give any excuses
Remarks :
They will not take any test before joining as I got through the entrance exam KCET. I am basically from Banglore the only reason I joined is because my brother studied in this college. Otherwise not any factor
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course which i am studying is ECE. I am very much regretting choosing this course because it very difficult that to in this college as they are not any well trained faculties in this college i feel so
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in 2nd year now they are not providing any of the intership soo far I think they will start it from the next year that is from 3year but so far they have not provided any information about the internship
Placement Experience :
As per my knowledge I don't think there is a good placement in this college for my branch but the other branch students are getting place for the decent amount but not a high paying placement we can't except high placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In my college the fee is very high as compare but the hostel fee is around 45k which also very high and also the mess(food) fee is separate that is 4k per month. The mess bill is high but the quality of the food is not at all good for the price and also they use coconut oil for many items like sambar. As I will get scholarship as I admitted through SC category I will get around 90k but we have to pay back to college around 80k
Campus Life :
There are many clubs in this college every branch as there own club but the thing is some of the clubs takes interview to enter there. The campus is very basic not soo good as I thought The main campus of Alvas education foundation is in vidhyagiri I don't known why they kept engineering in Mijar
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel fee is around 45k per year which is very high compare to the other as there is no any other facility in this and also the mess bill is separate which is around 4k per month. But the good also not good

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
